Hm, have you tried listening to music? Music helps you switch out from the left hemisphere to the right hemisphere.

Well, one thing I always do before starting out on a piece is by searching up really great masterpieces related to the subject on deviantART. If I find something that captures my attention, I look at it and analyze how the artist drew it together. Then, I start working on it. Normally, this is what I do when I want to get motivated and "get" in the mood for doing art.

And believe it or not, it works almost every single time for me.
