DNA, Actually, no. Here's my long drawn out response as to why your argument is terrible:
At the beginning of the week (Monday, to be exact), I was made Head Admin after a lot of my fellow staff rebelled since they hated the founder. I followed. A new site went up, and I was chosen to be Head Admin alongside someone else. I quickly voiced my opinion that it's a bad idea, but then my friend changed my mind. Eventhough I have stopped caring for the game, I'm a popular candidate because I have a sense of society fit for that position, so to speak. If the forum is good, but it is run by mostly a businessman, then history would repeat. If helped run by me, then no. He said, "As long as I don't quit, then it should be fine."
You're basically saying that because we havent left, we love something you hate, so you must remove yourself from us to better youself. Newsflash: I don't like Gen VI either. I'm not leaving though because I like the community.

Find a better reason. A lot of people probably damn near admire you here, and you're just walking out on them. What does that make you then?

I said they tried new things. Not they made huge innovations! Adjusting the type chart and finally giving us customisation might not be hard to do, but they show a newfound willingness to shake up things compared to gen 5 where it felt like they were afraid to touch change too much, keep it "safe". Also I forgot to mention the most obvious "risky" addition, mega evos.

By encounter methods I mean stuff like the shadows and the fossil cave and I think some other grasses net different Pokémon on some routes but I'm not sure.

A new type is pretty damn huge, changes to the type chart too. Amie (yes I love Amie and they obviously worked a lot on it), making competitive Pokémon a lot more accessible to non-hardcores, the way the overworld works, customisation, new Pokémon encounter methods, that weird fossil cave, how most towns are bigger and aren't just the usual town structure... stuff like that that just make it feel new to me. As much as I love gen 5, technically it was more like just... better gen 4.
The bad thing is that XY feels unpolished-ish. But I understand that they ran out of time. I mean how many games have 3D models of like 700 enemies and all of those are interactable (amie) and have many different attack animations etc. And that's just the Pokémon.

Hmm... I don't understand. It's a new gen like they have always been. They tried a lot of more new things compared to gen 5 and the gameplay seems fresher to me. Probably your life has just finally been oversaturated with Pokémon and it's too much. A break couldn't hurt then. But never forget your Pokémon tomodachi. It's a part of you, like it or not.
