I think his (her?) banning was a bit of a borderline case, especially because it was difficult to determine whether the shoddiness of the metagame back then was due to Excadrill's influence. On the whole though I'm glad he's gone, now I won't lose the game if my Skarmory falls to a Rock Slide flinch :Y
