That's a good thing.
Unlike most decks, you don't get out as many monsters as you can--they rarely have more than 2 monsters on the field. Bujins focus around protecting their Beast-Warriors with the Bujingi, a group of monsters that have effects that activate from the hand (the Winged Beasts) and the Graveyard (the good Beasts). Yamato searches for a Bujin and discards a card from your hand during each End Phase. Mikazuchi adds a Bujin S/T to your during the End Phase of a turn a Bujin is sent from the hand to the grave. Susanowo can attack everything once and can detach an Xyz Material to take a Bujin from your deck and add it to your hand OR send it to the grave. Kagutsuchi mills and prevents the destruction of your Bujins, the latter effect much like Maestroke.
A fun variation of a toolbox deck.
