You can get an idea, like a ballpark range, with a freshly caught Pokemon. The more levels it gains, the more specific the amount will be.
Due to advertising rules, I can't give you the link to a calculator. So you'll need to use Google to get one.
iisnumber12, Do you know the EVs you've put in? If you do, you can put the Pokemon's stats in a calculator to determine the IVs.
iisnumber12, Ooh. I don't play VGC, and I don't know of a simple way to check the IVs painlessly. You need to know the exact amount of EVs you've put into the Pokemon to figure out the IVs.

iisnumber12, So long as the Pokemon you transfer are not hacked, you should be OK. I also believe that deleting the save file erases all traces of the hack.
