    Just want to let you know that the contest is a brilliant idea to spark activity in the Writing Café. Props to you and the other mods.
    No problem. If you need any more 'sage' advice, just message me.
    If you have the means to give a prize, then do so. I personally don't/didn't, so I had to rely simply on interest.
    The Round-Robin was just for notoriety, I hate to admit. I literally had/have nothing to offer people beyond that.
    Thanks for the thought, but I'm still unsure if I'm going to have the time to do all the writing necessary to participate. I still have time to decide, though, right? The application period didn't end until...what, June 1st (or was it the 10th)?
    I might enter, if I find time and inspiration to write something.
    Hopefully your quarterly writing contest is more successful than my Round-Robin was. Fair warning: the story contests are never as popular as the poetry ones.

    Well, go easy on first time offenders, but don't show total leniency. I've made that mistake several times and regretted it, but still try to take it easy on people. It helps to be somewhat social with them, or at the very least let them know they can talk to you. My biggest flaw was probably that I always kept to my own mechanisms, so you may want to avoid that.

    Anyways, I'm Gatr, I'm usually active in the WC, just had a bit of writers block recently (doesn't happen often but when it does it lasts months) and I'll be back sometime these next two weeks. Just wanted to drop in say hi, and congrats on becoming the new mod, and I hope you can bring the WC back to life again.

    Dustin DeVine, Yeah...I actually realized I had seen your name in green before yesterday, but didn't feel like deleting the comment. You're welcome nonetheless. These staff changes really should be made more obviously public though, it's annoying when you're trying to stay up to date.
