Hmm... I should probably edit the WC Rules & Guidelines thread to clarify that better. There are actually some special case rules that only apply in my forum. I tried to cover topics I thought needed to be addressed better in my most recent revision of them, but I've been afraid for weeks that they'd only serve to confuse people more.

Anyways, we're not super-strict about old thread revival in general so long as it's not past six months and there's still something good being added to conversations (that should also have been noted in the General PB Rules too). Besides, the biggest problem my forum has ever had were spambots and badly-written fics that needed to be removed completely.
Actually fanfics are the exception to the thread necromancy rule, especially when it's the writer making an update. We just have a really strong advisory against anyone else bumping older fics without making a decent comment so people don't go bumping super-old fics from years ago to the front page of the Writer's Corner since most writers don't keep them going once they've been left sitting for that long.
Cool! I'll just keep an eye out for when you do finally post it then. Scary stories can be a little hard to write depending on what they're about from my experience, though. I'm actually working on a short horror fanfic myself that I'm hoping to post soon, but I'm not sure how scary it'll actually be.
I'm well. Usually I find it easiest to write about something you're interested in. It doesn't have to be strictly Pokemon-related, but if you've got even a crude idea, you can usually write a story about it. What were you thinking about writing, if anything?
LuckyPokeGirl, Um, good, I guess (that's what I say every time someone asks me that lol). I've just gotta finish up this paper but I can't... stop... looking... at... the picture thread!

    How iz you?
LuckyPokeGirl, sure thing. Whenever you're ready, send it my way with whatever you want to say next.
LuckyPokeGirl, this is why I'd never move away from Windows. There's no good reason to, because I'd lose so much and gain very little, if at all.

And so we don't clog profile pages up, do you want to continue this discussion in a PM instead?
    LuckyPokeGirl, or both.
Either way I don't like to use Paint; I prefer to run GIMP instead. It's a nice photo imaging software, plus it's free. (I make all my banners and such on it.)

I don't know if it works with Macs but it's worth a try. Just Google "GIMP" and a download link should show up quickly.
LuckyPokeGirl, this lends further credence to my theory that Macs are evil, because you can't do anything on them except play music...
LuckyPokeGirl, so, after making a file, you can't open a program up to edit it later? That's strange...

I'm not sure how Mac's Paintbrush works, however I do know that with Paint you can copy/paste other images into it, but the means to do so is rather complicated...
