SotH, I'm more referring to the shape than the color.
Just look at the upper half of his body - from the eyes up to the point at the top. It looks a lot like an onion or a piece of garlic.
SotH, it's like a fat onion. And yeah, he does have a funny-shaped head. In my attempts to draw Claydol, that's always been the most annoying part for me.
