    xheronecx, for the reply to work, you have to wait until your profile page finishes loading. Otherwise it doesn't do anything. It's weird like that.

    Or yes, you can just go directly to my page. Either works.

    xheronecx, on the comment in question, there's a "Reply" button. If you hit Reply, you can reply to that person's comment directly from your wall. Then it gets posted in the other person's wall.

    So you can hit Reply on this comment when typing your response, and it'll go directly to my wall!

    Mine was pretty good myself. Could have been better (my evening consisted of managing rambunctious grade-schoolers on a playground), but overall it went well. So, no real complaints there.

    And now I'm not sure how to continue the conversation.

    xheronecx, making avatars isn't all that difficult. If you have an image cropping or editing software, such as Microsoft Office Picture Manager (or any software used for editing photos) or even Paint, you can make really basic ones.

    I use GIMP, so there are a few graphic toys at my disposal (hence mine tend to look flashy). If you want, I might be able to make you one.

    Although, I think Meloetta looks very good on you.

    xheronecx, there probably will. There are always excuses to make more. I don't particularly like seeing new Eeveelutions, but the excuses exist.

    And it's no big deal. The gender I put on my profile is the same gender as what my avatar currently is.

    xheronecx, the X and Y are either based on chromosomes or spatial coordinates. Both are likely - the former because there are DNA helices in the Japanese logo, and the latter because the X and Y axes exist in space (and the Y is a bird and up in the air).

    As for the starters? I dislike them. Except Froakie, but his curse is having a lame name. I'm waiting for them to unveil the final forms, since then I'll be able to decide my starter, if any.

    xheronecx, I know I don't have to, but I'd like to! that's why I'm offering. And there's no hurry, I know. Maybe one day, whenever you feel like it.

    I do know about the new announcement, yes. What it might be, I don't know, but we'll find out. We'll both know tomorrow, no doubt.

    xheronecx, maybe I can help you build a team. What kind of strategy are you going for? What Pokemon would you like to try and use? What's your playstyle like? I could probably draft up a team template based on that.

    xheronecx, practicing against the PWT downloads in BW2 is a good idea! I only remembered to download the Juniors one; I completely forgot about Senior and Master. I think I stopped caring about BW2 for a while at that point. That, and they were only up for a week each =/

    There's also Random Matchup, which I used in BW1 as a practice tool that is also quite effective. I think it's better than the PWT downloads, because you're fighting real people, not teams working off the game's silly AI.

    You do know how to EV train, right?

    xheronecx, I might be able to help with team-building strategies since I do play now and again in VGC format. I know most official Pokemon tournaments use VGC format, and I've played in that a few times, so I might be able to help. You have any ideas for teams as of yet?

    xheronecx, you live in AZ? Wow, you're right next door. Eh, I guess Regionals is too far away for you, but what about States (for TCG)? It was in Glendale last year; it should probably be about the same place this year. It's going to be, iirc, the 2nd Saturday in March.

    xheronecx, are you sure? You might be better than you think. And you could always just go to socialize or whatever...

    They're coming up in about 2 weeks' time, so you have a chance to go to TCG or VGC. (I know the link says VGC, but they're in the same place - the TCG's on Saturday, and the VGC's on Sunday.)

    Which one's closest to you? I'll be in the Long Beach one that weekend (19-20 Jan).

    xheronecx, spending New Year's with family is always good.

    Any plans to go to a Regionals? or are you not that into the Pokemon TCG/VG?

    And...wait, you're female? Wow, I always thought you were a guy. My mistake!

    xheronecx, pretty darn good all around! New year's here, and so far it has been very nice; I've had plenty of chances to just kick back and not have to worry about a thing. It's very nice, really!
