A lot of them have a bit of an Irish theme to it.
With the exceptions of some songs, I prefer the instrumentals too. It's also one of the reasons (although the main reason is still that it is just an amazing show) I like Fairy Tail. I love listening to the soundtracks of that show!

Family Guy is funny, I like that show! I usually watch series on my computer, not as much on the TV, but I do love anime!
