    Tornadus/Landorus/Lugia

Since you can afford to have another max potion, it would be a good thing to do so. Also, maybe add Terrakion with retaliate. You have the energy for it and can be awesome in many situations.

    TCG Complaint Thread

I agree that decks still are open to creativity. I just don't think there should ever be absolute staples that you cannot compete without. It's supposed to be a 60 card deck not 56 + Catchers

    TCG Complaint Thread

I hate Catchers for the reason that every deck pretty much needs to have 4. In a TCG game based around choosing, there shouldn't be something that every deck absolutely needs or it is inferior. If it was an Ace Spec, that could be cool as then certain decks would still probably rather run...

Garchimp/Leafeon/Landorus EX - Small Energy, Big Bite

Well if Leafeon can OHKO Keldeo first, then it's a 2 for 1 prize exchange so that's a good thing for leafeon. Just have to watch out for eevee being Catchered in to play and dying before it gets a chance. Terrakion maybe to get those revenge kills quick and keeping it as a 2 for 1 trade...

    Fairy-Type Representation in the TCG

RE: Fairy Type representation in the TCG Wouldn't it have to be colorless if not a new type? Think about most of the pokemon assumed to be Fairy type when they come out. Chansey family and Togepi family. Nearly all of the pokemon that I would think will be changed to Fairy are already...

    XY The Two Legendary Pokémon

RE: The Two Legendary Pokemon Xerneas Fairy/Psychic, Yveltal Dragon/Dark... Fairy is immune and super effective against Dragon (rumored) while Dark is immune and super effective against Psychic. It's the perfect mix to bring in Fairy type. The current TCG shows us that pokemon needs more Dark...

    Leafeon/Espeon tech

Just getting thoughts on possibly throwing Plasma Freeze Leafeon and Espeon as techs to pretty much any deck to counter the meta game decks. From play testing, I've seen that Leafeon will destroy Blastoise/Keldeo as the number of energies gets insane (did 600 damage in one hit with weakness)...

    Shadow Triad

Having one or two seems useful as it can be very situational if you are running a completely plasma deck but it is certainly not a staple that should be relied on.

    (1) Supposed 'X' and 'Y' Insider Information [5/11]

What if dual type moves are only used in double battles... We already have moves (that many assumed fairy types use) that are only useful in double battles/triple battles. Not exactly sure how this would work but makes more sense than giving pokemon a x16 effectiveness

Plasma Deck (Mostly Eevee based) suggestions?

Deoxys > Mewtwo here. Much more expensive which I'm having a problem with as well... What are the plasma energies for at all? Deoxys can at least use them. Metagross is probably unnecessary as well. Keep the plasma balls so metagross isn't needed. Either get another basic attacker or play...

    (1) Supposed 'X' and 'Y' Insider Information [5/11]

In Japan, Dark types are often seen as "evil type". The new Fairy type could easily be seen as "good". Meaning that the pokemon don't need to look like tinkerbell to fit in. I can definitely see a lot of old Normal types becoming Fairy type. Togepi and company just makes sense. Pretty much...

    Plasma Eeveelution deck

I can actually see certain combos of eeveelutions actually competing with certain decks. Leafeon completely destroys the active pokemon of a Blastoise/Keldeo. Plasma decks will rely on having Deoxys sit on the bench which can be taken out with Espeons awesome ability, especially if you have...

    Future Metagame Speculation Thread

RE: Future Metagame Speculation I can't bring myself to put more than 2 Lugia in a deck. It's not something you need first turn since you need to add some damage first. I also like Kyurem in this since it sorta replaces Landorus' job with Lugia. I think you can still get Lugia setup in the...

    Future Metagame Speculation Thread

RE: Future Metagame Speculation why 3 ultra balls and only 2 plasma balls? only one of your pokemon is not Plasma, Keldeo. Also this deck could probably work just as well without Keldo. It needs at least 3 energies which means your taking energies away from Lugia. I plan on making a very...

    Lugia EX/Landorus EX Deck

New Plasma Freeze cards may give you better options if you like Lugia EX. My plan is to combine it with new Deoxys EX and Thundurs EX. However, if nothing else, be sure to use the new stadium card "Frozen City" for your counter. This at least gives the possibility of harming the biggest...

    Plasma Eeveelution deck

RE: Plasma Freevee deck Vaporeon can definitely leave this deck, he is quite useless, I agree. I am quite aware that Glaceon and Umbreon are useful and Leafeon could do some strong situational damage while Espeon can attack the bench (with weakness) for one psychic. I will gladly take out...

    Plasma Freeze Discussion

Deoxys seems like it can be involved in a few powerful decks. I'm wondering if it is necessary to have both Shadow Triad cards and Thundurus EX. I plan on running a deck with Deoxys and Lugia but don't want to throw money at Thundurus as a non attacking EX when I can get a similar (slightly...
