Since you can afford to have another max potion, it would be a good thing to do so. Also, maybe add Terrakion with retaliate. You have the energy for it and can be awesome in many situations.

I agree that decks still are open to creativity. I just don't think there should ever be absolute staples that you cannot compete without. It's supposed to be a 60 card deck not 56 + Catchers

I hate Catchers for the reason that every deck pretty much needs to have 4. In a TCG game based around choosing, there shouldn't be something that every deck absolutely needs or it is inferior. If it was an Ace Spec, that could be cool as then certain decks would still probably rather run...

Just getting thoughts on possibly throwing Plasma Freeze Leafeon and Espeon as techs to pretty much any deck to counter the meta game decks. From play testing, I've seen that Leafeon will destroy Blastoise/Keldeo as the number of energies gets insane (did 600 damage in one hit with weakness)...

Having one or two seems useful as it can be very situational if you are running a completely plasma deck but it is certainly not a staple that should be relied on.

What if dual type moves are only used in double battles... We already have moves (that many assumed fairy types use) that are only useful in double battles/triple battles. Not exactly sure how this would work but makes more sense than giving pokemon a x16 effectiveness
