Have to agree on most consistent. All basic and rather simple strategy to pull off gotta love volc.

Not so much float as it is psychic snagging an ohko with band, garbotoxin garb is still a thing as well. In addition, Necrozma GX plus koko makes garbs life a hell of a lot easier even if you guys only toss a few items.

I agree to an extent, though I believe a competent espeon player has the advantage in that matchup.

Bulu vikavolt just has a bit of a rough time hitting the right numbers, metagross, the new gardevoir gx, volcanion with fury belt(it's being run in it again) all things our big green friend can't ohko

Volcanion loses nothing and is super consistent. It's actually India scary how good it's gonna be still. It also can one shot all these high HP Pokémon so we shall see. Biased tepees espeon though just love the card in general.

So what does everyone think will be the best decks post rotation? Really hoping espeon garb is still tier 1 as I love it but let's try and come up with some post BUR/rotation lists people

Well yeah that's all fine, I'm more interested in thinking up actual concepts in this thread deck ideas, supporter and item lines etc.

So we've seen a lot of burning shadows, what does everyone think decks will look like? Predictions on what will be tier 1 straight out the gate? (Also I believe rotation will rotate to break sets, so let's just roll with that.)

Well Wally is extremely meh. Also if you are playing in any league cup or event where you expect a lot of metagross do not play this deck without some kind of tech.

I honestly think that if they were to just say screw it and go Sun Moon on- it'd be extremely fun. Odds are this won't happen but just to see every single remotely relevant supporter just axed would create a much slower and way more fun format. At least in my eyes

How long have you been around in the game? It looks like they might be trying to set up a similar format to either hgss or the lux chomp format.

They have already said that they were monitoring cards in expanded for potential additions to the current ban list.
