I like this idea as well. Maybe you can only do a time or two before going to a Pokémon Center otherwise you would be able to change moves between each Elite Four member to better your chances, for example.

RE: Why do you think Team Flare's goal is money? Team Rocket was a mafia-esque group and money is inherently a goal for a mafia. It wasn't directly out there (because of them creating Mewtwo, wanting the region and masterball, etc.) but it was a goal for them.

My cousin had some cards so I started collecting them as well, then I finally received a game boy for Christmas (didn't even ask for one; I was unsure what it was when I unwrapped it) and my mom bought me yellow. I received and played R/B a few months later. This was in the later 90s.
