These are looking great! On the Trainer card, however, I'd like to ask that you fix the set symbol for it to be counted. It shouldn't have that black square around it.

Contest The Fakers' Marathon 4! Final Score: 464 Points!

Create-a-Card and Fakers' Marathon are two fundamentally different events. In CaC, you are directly competing against other entrants to see who has the best card. In the Fakers' Marathon, you are working with all the other members to achieve the highest collective score by submitting new cards...

Contest The Fakers' Marathon 4! Final Score: 464 Points!

How fast can this community make new cards? Some contests search for the prettiest card, some search for the most creative mechanics, others search for the most lifelike appearance, but sometimes you just want to take a break and make some easier cards for a while. Well this is the event for...

Contest November 2021 CaC: Discard Pile (Results Posted!)

Throw me in for image. Still a very low chance I'll be able to join this month, but I'd rather have my name on it just in case. Though just like last time, if I'm stopping someone else from joining because sign-ups are full, please replace my name with theirs. I reckon it's around a 20% I'll...

TCG Fakes 31 Days of CaC: A Month-Long Look at 10 Years of History

Holy. Moly. I just realized how deep the genius of this card goes. I never looked closely enough at this to actually see that it's literally the Platinum Arceus Spiritomb card inside all those electric effects. And the fact that the Pokédex info bar looks so similar between the two templates...

TCG Fakes 31 Days of CaC: A Month-Long Look at 10 Years of History

...Well dang. Not one, but three of my entries featured in two days. I'm gonna blush. ? And my entry featured on the day of the 10th anniversary since the first CaC contest was posted? I am deeply honored. Every time I see my cards posted on PokéBeach, I'm reminded of exactly how large they...

TCG Fakes 31 Days of CaC: A Month-Long Look at 10 Years of History

I think this was a really cool round for CaC and personally wouldn't mind seeing it again, although I will say that, for me at least, getting artwork for Trainer cards of any variety is significantly more difficult than getting artwork for Pokémon, so I'm not sure I would be able to participate...

TCG Fakes 31 Days of CaC: A Month-Long Look at 10 Years of History

At some point I still think I would like to make an "expansion pack" or something for Omnium that offers the option to use the modern attack layout. If I ever get enough free time for it I'll be sure to let you know haha. The high-resolution requirement basically became a non-issue once we found...

Ah yes, the entry so good that Omega thought it was real. ?

TCG Fakes 31 Days of CaC: A Month-Long Look at 10 Years of History

I really do love to see a card that can manage to pull off rearranging the elements so drastically without looking like a train wreck, as so many custom blanks do. Amperglyph's blank here looks like it shouldn't look good for how it's changed things, but they must have known what they were...

TCG Fakes 31 Days of CaC: A Month-Long Look at 10 Years of History

I did two duos entries in my time. Both were with @Kavross and he was quite a pleasure to work with! I think it's super enjoyable to do CaCs with partners and would gladly do it again on months that I'm able to enter. I encourage others to do so as well! Having someone to bounce ideas off of is...

TCG Fakes 31 Days of CaC: A Month-Long Look at 10 Years of History

Even though the text is kinda difficult to read on this one, visually I think it's one of the most beautiful cards that has appeared in CaC. Certainly is my favorite card ever submitted. I'm definitely not biased toward Xerneas or anything. I don't know why you would think. >> But for real...

TCG Fakes 31 Days of CaC: A Month-Long Look at 10 Years of History

Lots of contests had multiple 50s for the first few years. Heavenly Spoon never handed a single one out as far as I can tell. We've only seen one perfect 50 since September 2014, though many have come close. Things really did change when Spoon got involved.

Contest September 2021 CaC: Unused Pokémon (Results Are Up!)

I think I'll go ahead and reserve a slot. There's probably only about a 10% chance I'll do one this month but I guess that's enough to want to have that option after the 8th. If slots do fill up and someone else wants to join, please feel free to bump me off the list, though. I don't want to...

TCG Fakes Sun & Moon: GX Armada

Awesome work Nyan! I love it so much when a set has lore attached to it and this story sounds really good so far! I'm excited to see more!

Contest May 2021 CaC: Extreme Heights (Results Are Up!)

Holy cannoli I am impressed by this dude! I can see the parts that came from Omnium but wowza this is basically a whole template on its own. Fantastic work! I'm proud to have played a part in inspiring this card's creation.

TCG Fakes Omnium: Frontiers Renewed (66.7% complete)

You know what, h*ck it. I'm posting the Colorless stuff today too. I've got a little time. Here's that other baby I was talking about! The one that breaks the HP and retreat cost rule that I would normally set for any other Baby Pokémon. Munchlax is kinda bulky for a baby, so I figured it...

TCG Fakes Omnium: Frontiers Renewed (66.7% complete)

Iiit's Flying types! With a unique type texture and icon! I think the question is inevitably going to pop up of "What add only Flying types out of all the other types not represented in the TCG?" My reasons may not be as compelling to others, but the way I justify it is that Flying type seems to...
