As noted in the news thread, the only way the fire types can be filled up is with National Beginning Set cards, unless we get some cards early. This means that if we do the NBS cards, it's likely that Snivy's family and also possibly Shaymin should be in BC. So it's really fitting 22 grass type...

I don't think they'll ever make the cards better quality, to be honest. Online TCG = greater accessibility = more players = more customer etc. etc. Simply upping the prizes isn't going to introduce more players to the game.

Works great if you have a healthy league near you, but consider all the places around the world where this isn't in place. Some people only get to play the game because of the online TCG. It's a great addition, and I think it's quite one-eyed for people who want it to be scrapped, to be honest.

The Terrakion in EP was the bad Terrakion. Good Terrakion comes form NV. Which leaves us with one card that will be played in all decks, Catcher. One card doesn't make a set - indeed it doesn't actually ensure that a lot of other decks become viable. Catcher didn't actually change the format...

I think these Ace Specs look excellent... Much better than the japanese ones! Ace Specs are ultra rare in the Japanses sets too, but apparently they don't decrease your chances of getting EXs.
