Non-holo cards aren't shiny at all. Reverse holo cards are shiny, but have the set logo on the bottom corner of the picture (well Fire Red Leaf Green and later). Holo cards are simply shiny cards with most of them having a sparkly picture (except one's from most delta sets).

Right now, i'm using adeck with Delcatty, Magenton and Flgon d. it seems to do really well, but as others have suggested, anything that attaches energies could work well with Magneton. Another good idea could be Dragonite d since they both use lightning ergy and cover each other's weaknesses.

Yes, you can. In any set with reverse holos, you can get reverse holo verions of normally holographic cards.

I'd really have to say Unseen Forces. Almost every ex was incredibly good, well except for Ho-oh and maybe T-tar, plus it had some of the best exs: Lugia, Steelix, Espeon & Umbreon, plus it had Ariados as well.

I remember that supposedly there was some problem with being able to make either Abra or Kadabra as a card anymore. Did that ever get resolved? If it didn't, I seriously doubt we'll be seeing a regular Alakazam for a long time.
