Actually, Shield Energy can be targeted by Bronzong's ability. It doesn't mention a basic energy ;) I think it would be very strong with this deck.

If you manage to sort out quickly a Garchomp on turn 2 with 2 energies on it, it will destroy almost any EX reliant deck. Most of the time, you will go 2nd and leave the first turn to your opponent in order to have the first attack. On your first turn, Lucario EX is able to hit a non-EX for 70...

It can exist for sure ! Personnally I am working on the Rare Candy version for my 6 years old son for his Regionals in April. It is a bit hard for him to combine cards well enough to sort out quickly a Maxie... whereas it is pretty easy (and it remains very powerful) to play Korrina on turn 2...

Here are a few ways of improvement for your consideration : 1. Bronzong is your Accelerator. But you also need to accelerate your Accelerator ;) Level ball can help you to sort out either Bronzor, or Bronzong. A first turn Pokémon Fan Club can also be great for a combo Bronzor + Shaymin EX...

You only play Lightning Energies, and you have some Rough Seas --> Raikou probably deserves to be tested. If you like it, think about Fighting Fury Belt or Assault Vest, too ;)

Don't forget Aegislash EX, one of your only chances to survive a very few extra turns against Night March ;) If you don't like it, or doesn't have it, replacing Steel Shelter by Silent Lab could be an option too.

Very nice list, congrats ! :) - Judge is an awesome Supporter to play on Glalie's decks : same effect than Red Card, but can be discarded with Battle Compressor and recovered with VS Seeker. - 1 copy of Shaymin EX could help on your first turn, before you play Silent Lab. Always great to use...

I have heavily tested the M-Manectric EX matchup, and even if it is not easy, this deck has some weapons to oppose. The most important is to adapt the strategy : M-Manectric EX and Raikou can OHKO M-Rayquaza EX, and that's a problem. Leave him on the bench and choose the right moment to bring...

I agree with @ProZlockie, Parallel City is a plague for this deck... It ruins our battlefield, discards the Skyfield already in game, and forces you to search for an other one in order to have a chance to hit again with M-Rayquaza EX. Zoroark is a big threat too, but it is more easy to adapt...

Perhaps you could increase your chance of victory vs Regice by adding some energy discard : Team Flare Grunt & Xerosic work well with Battle Compressor and VS Seeker ; Enhanced Hammer is great in the current metagame full of D.C.E. If Regice can't attack, you have more chances to beat him ;)

@Gible06 I have not tested that much the Expanded Format, but it seems to me that the Bronzong tech will be a bit slow. It does great job in Standard, but I have some doubts for the Expanded... Perhaps you could find your missing slots for Gallade/Maxie here. -3 Bronzor -3 Bronzong +2 Gallade...

If I am not wrong, Garbodor (Dragons Exalted 54) is no longer available in the Standard Format. ;) But I do like the idea to play Gallade/Maxie in a Manectric deck !

I agree with @TuxedoBlack . Acro Bike is great in this deck, allowing you to have an easier access to your Manectric Spirit Link or Rough Seas, and often discarding an energy for a future Turbo Bolt. I think that a small count of Battle Compressor would really help. Discarding some Energies...

Don't forget that Lugia EX is a very good attacker when energized by M-Manectric EX. This card will be able to beat Aegislash and a lot of other Pokémons in the OHKO race ;)
