I see this card is widely used, however I fail to see its value. I mean, I'll lose all cards in my hand in order to get just one -- and I still have to toss a coin! I'm new to the game, so I know there must be some use to it that I'm not aware of. Can someone enlighten me?

This sounds interesting. PR matches must be a lot of fun. Everybody making strategies up based in what cards they got. I wish I could get to attend one some day, but I don't expect this kind of event to be held anywhere here in Brazil. :(

Can you clarify for me what is a prerelease match? In what does it differ from a normal match? I never heard of a "prerelease match" before. Yeah, I'm new to this.

I have a very noobish question. Don't laugh. Seriously. Now... What happens with the previous set and its expansions when a whole new set comes out? Will the game change significantly enough for the current expansions like Supreme Victors and Arceus to become obsolete in any way? I ask...

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I was about to start a new one about Masquerain anyway. It may be a "meh" card for you advanced players, with your decks full of miraculous combos and such, but for a newbie like me, Masquerain SV is beyond awesome. I will be getting more premade decks...
