I don't think Kyurem's that bad, getting rid of Mewtwo's and Giga's DCE's could hurt. You can only have 4 after all. You can just switch + retreat to keep using Hail Blizzard and even then the combination of Ice Wing + Hail Blizzard is 180, which is lookin like it's going to be a magic number...

I do NOT like Yanmega as Donphan "counter". It takes 3 turns to KO it. Giving a Donphan Deck 3 turns is almost guaranteeing a Heavy Impact set up or even worse, Machamp Prime. Tornadus on the other hand, I like the sound of.

44 out of the 89 Pokemon in this set rely on coinflips. Also, ZPS may use Swanna instead of Yanmega as Donphan couters, because it can one-shot Donphan for 2 energy. (Water and DCE) though those energies would hurt consistency. They could use Pachi and Shaymin to put Electrics on it, and run...

Dang it, looks like you've figured out TPCi's marketing plan, and it sounds flawless. I just hate that they put the ONE essential Spike card in an otherwise completely Timmy set. It's going to ensure Spikes buy some too.

Well, after reading that I guess I classify as a Johhny. But still this set isn't only a turn off for Spike's only. In realty, the set as a whole is only valuable to collectors. There isn't any one single juggernaut to grab Timmy's fancy. There's nothing Johnny can use to aid him in his rogues...

Well it would be kinda weird to release SR Mewoth next set, skipping a SR for a set. But then again, calling this bunch of garbage a set is even weirder.

I think there will be one, aren't these just the scans of a few players who got them at worlds? Full arts are easy to pull, but maybe no one who WPM was associating with pulled a Meowth. That or there isn't one.

Yea, it has everyday "basic" on the card. But it's not the end of the TCG, just THIS metagame. EX will bring 8 titans to the table in it's first set. It'll be a different game for sure, but not the end.

They're not exactly in 10 year increments, FR/LG were on the 8th anniversary for Japan (and roughly the 6th everywhere else)

Al right. I like Mewtwo better as a Pokemon anyway. But still, you cannot deny that losing 3 prizes would be a set back. That's all I'm getting at. RDL has bad recovery and can be inconsistent, but 3 prizes is a lot.

Ok, I don't know why you said the same post twice but whatever. I SAID RDL would have a field day with this. Meaning, it could OHKO and take 3 prizes. YOU then started saying Mewtwo was more consitent and could set up quicker. A card can't be consistent. A deck can. I really don't want to fight...

And slim it may be, however, Mewtwo EX is 2 1/2 sets ahead, and its unfair to compare it to a current deck. Reshiram EX could make the new Reshiboar, and it could keep up Prize Exchange with Mewtwo until there's only 3 left. RDL taking 3 prizes in one turn is huge, it could really set you back...

It COULD take out 2 Mewtwo EXs by turn 3 for the win is what I'm saying. Mewtwo may never even get a KO on Cleffa, neither player may draw into Catcher, it's a game of chance. And all I'm saying is, there's a chance RDL can take 6 prizes in 3 turns.
