TPCi has officially revealed Fusion Strike! We revealed the set name a few weeks ago — it will release on November 12th.
It will be based on Japan’s Fusion Arts set, which introduces a third Battle Style called “Fusion.” Our English set will also include cards cut from Evolving Skies.
The set will feature over 260 cards.

Are there any Gengar VMax cards other than the ones from the High Class deck unaccounted for in English?

Edit: Does that Pokemon Center ETB have two sets of sleeves?

Woah, the set logo is super weird, I like it though. All the pack art is fantastic too and reveals that the inteleon and gengar vmaxes will be in this set.

Holy moly. 260+ cards, before secret rares? This'll literally be the largest Pokémon TCG expansion ever released. Cosmic Eclipse barely scraped past 270, including secret rares.

Isnt it over half cut cards if its that big compared to the japanese set? It's name could also mean a fusion of a full set and a bunch of cut/unreleased cards haha.

Well, we have 4 unreleased Japanese VMAXs—Rillaboom, Cinderace, Inteleon, and Gengar—and all of them are in this set. HOWEVER, we ALSO have five gigantamax forms that still need to be released in either English or Japanese—Machamp, Kingler, Melmetal, Appletun, and Hattrene. This set only has a total of EIGHT VMAXs, and at least one of those (Mew VMAX) is non-gigantamax. So we are guaranteed to be at least two gigantamax forms short of the full set by the time Fusion Strike releases. UNLESS we get another set of VMAX boxes like we did with Battle Styles, or some other sort of sealed product with two VMAX promos? Or maybe we will get one MORE set of VMAXs? We still don’t know whether VMAX Climax is a mechanic or a set, but if it’s a set, will be have room for it in this… oh wait. We have 100 cards in Fusion Arts, 90 cards cut from Evolving Skies, and a total of 260 cards before Secret Rares in Fusion Style. So we MAY still get a set called VMAX Climax and yet receive (most of?) the cards from that set in Fusion Style.

oh were all the chilling reign cuts in evolving skies?

Man that's a lot of cards for a set that doesn't even have a Japanese mini set to be included with. Why did they feel the need to cut so many cards from Evolving Skies.

Eww, the PC-exclusive ETB skipped out on giving players metal damage-counter dice again…

Outside of seeing that the B&B Stadium appears to be missing dice/Special Condition markers, almost all of these products are what I expected them to be (seeing Eevee and another Eeveelution as 3-pack blister promos is annoying, but it’s what sells).

I have a feeling that some may be skipped over due to time constraints. It’s worth noting that, when the TCG’s XY-era ended, some Mega Evolutions were still missing from the TCG (Mega Sableye and Mega Lopunny only popped up in the late SM-era and Mega Abomasnow is STILL missing).

Well, it's been a fun 20 years Pokemon TCG, but when your only recourse to the bots, scalpers, product shortages and out of control secondary market that's been plaguing everyone for the last entire year is "keep making the sets as large as humanly possible," I think I'm done here.
