Yeah the IRLs of those (and Cresselia as well for example) beat their pocket "counterparts" by a mile. Ofc it goes differently pokemon by pokemon there will be ones I prefer their pocket version like the Shaymin but that's just natural after all there's a huge overlap of artists. And I personally dont feel any kind of diss towards me because Pocket exists there's no reason for me to believe that pocket players deserve "less quality" artwork like why would I be entitled to that. And pocket will last for a while so I also dont see the point in beat a dead horse every single release

thats really fair actually. its not that i want less quality for pocket users (i personally also enjoy the app) i guess i have the underlying wishful thinking these cards will be printed like PoGo set.

The hats are goofy, but there are arts where they look fine or sometimes even good, like the terapagos or sylveon, it's not the best looking gimmick but they've still done an alright job at it and they've made it look good enough

I think the special set coming this year will probably focus around ar and sar cards and will probably get us pichu ar.

I have the electrike 1/2 art as I like to call them in my full art pokedex currently! It’s one of my childhood cards. I do agree it technically counts!
I like them so I’ll keep it, but I may use the IR if I happen to get one because shiny. But then it can live in my personal collection binder. I’m hoping to get one of each Pokemon that came out in that style one day. I already have several!

Everyone says those are better artworks without the hats. No one buys the Tera SARs because of the hats lets be real. They buy them for the character or chase the price point, the tera hat is definitely the last thing they like. I personally have hard time believing people buy the tera exs for the hats cuz thats literally what people have been crying about this whole era.
