“Journey Together” Set Guide: Card List, Products, Store Promos, and Booster Box Situation!

That is literally every LGS, even if they get them at their distributor price, which is like 50-60% of msrp, they sell them for 3x. If they sold their product for msrp scalpers would literally have no power. Don't support LGS anymore, they will screw you over if they know they can.
Here is what ima say on the tough times now: we will get through this
We as a community need to understand that this is human nature at the end of the day, humans want more and more even if they do crazy things to achieve what we want. The only way we can change human nature is to shift how we as a community interact with the game and most importantly, each other. Support you ethical LGS, show up to locals, don’t buy an unreasonable amount of product and most importantly, be compassionate. This hobby has shown the best and worst in ppl, what we try to do is in our hands and each little act of kindness you can do will hep us as a whole.
Anyway, this set looks cool. Prerelease will be cool, but this set doesn’t seem to good competitively.

I'm hoping to get an ETB.
A local Gamestop had a rip and submit event when I went to check for cards - my kids have been complaining for weeks there's never any cards - and there was a little table with a couple energy cards and the Prismatic Evolution booklet that comes with the etb. They let me take the booklet, which is really what I want so the kids and pick and choose the cards they want to buy.
My aim is to get them at least 1 etb of every SV set. Specifically for those booklets.

None of this matters to me. I have just been told by my Seller that I have lost a quarter of my Journey Together Order. (Booster Display Box & both the Scrafty/Yanmega 3 Pack Blisters) due to their Pokemon Distributor not fulfilling Order's & that this goes all the way to the top. They told me that they think this is deliberate. After the mess of Prismatic Evolutions & now this, I have basically lost interest in the whole process. I'll try for the odd item but I'm certainly not going out of my way like I use to! Pokemon's Cash Loss not mine!
Yes it was a cool thing that they did for the generations starter decks you know the one thing that celebrated all gens for those who like pokemon as a whole? yeah that. Also for collectors ok some kind of collectors it is worse if you have japanese exclusive cards
It would be interesting to know whether he drew them all at the same time and they just were used later or whether the were drawn at different times.
Because we had some articles some years ago where it was shown that when an artist gets the job to draw a certain Pokémon, they hand in 3, 4 or more illustrations. So when the first one is released on card, there should still be a couple of leftovers in many cases, which might just end up on other cards later.

Would you consider someone buying 4 PRE booster bundles, 5-to-6 PRE mini tins, a couple of 2-pack non-PRE blisters, a Spring 2025 stacking tin, and a Charziard ex Super-Premium Collection to be too much? Because someone at one of my local Targets managed to do that.
Could you explain this in greater detail? Because if what you’re saying is true then that means TPCi may have flat-out lied about about fixing the supply issues plaguing PRE and other TCG sets right now.
I would say purchasing an amount that other ppl would not be able to have some product as well would be considered to much. It also is the mindset of the person buying it. Are they doing it cause they like opening cards or “trying to hit the money card”

That would have been a long time to be lying there, if both were drawn before Dragon Vault, but I have frequently seen illustrations by the same artist with similar background, sometimes the same Pokémon in sets max. a couple of years apart. There I could see them being from the same drawing session.
Their reasoning behind it was to complete a master set which, considering the amount of product you’d have to buy in order to do so, makes me thinks it was a load of bull-dust.
But other than myself, no one else raised the voices on it due to him sharing a couple of tins with random kids and said Target having no purchase limit.
I would say that the Top Echelon of Pokemon is trying to fix this, but apart from the Pokemon Center Sites supplying product; everything below that is a deliberate ploy. Everything I have tried to purchase (From all over the world) is not available to get. I'm not just talking Prismatic Evolutions & Journey Together stuff, I am talking tins, battle kits, battle decks, collection boxes, everything. Every time I go on a Website it doesn't have any stock to Pre-Order or is Sold Out. It doesn't matter if I even ask for a Notification on new stock, there is nothing available. Something deliberate is definitely going on!
