Scalping is the (mass) purchase of scarce product to resell at a higher price. It's also common with tickets to popular concerts and sports events, new games consoles, video cards. Anything that's scarce and in high demand.

6 SIRs is certainly interesting. One reasonable guess was to say we getting 4 trainer pokemon ex & 4 non trainer. And half of them getting the SIR. I wouldnt count out a mistake, as in maybe they're counting supporter SIRs. But recently I think theyv havent, so idk
It's not? We always get 6 SIRs (4 Pokémon and 2 Trainers) per Japanese set. This means that all 6 of them now will be Pokémon and no trainers, since this set is based of only 1 Japanese set.
i really do NOT like the idea of an “enhanced” booster box with its own promo, which will probably be yet another pc exclusive with yet another pc exclusive promo that will get scalped into oblivion, and if some $200+ box that only bots ever get a chance to order becomes the only way to get the gorgeous N’s reshiram im gonna riot i s2g
edit: with the update that it's actually a box topper in every booster box, as opposed to some new deluxe booster box in addition to the regular booster box, i think im actually okay with this now? i've been wanting box toppers to come back for a while and this is a great card for it to be so **shrug** i was hoping it would be the ETB promo but at least it is still a promo so that's a decent compromise i guess? (as long as they're not scalped into oblivion!!! lol)

Man, gotta say, I LOVE the look they're going for now. Aren't you guys all sick and tired of the same style of 3D models on every single set? I like this very blue and new aesthetic, I for one hope this signals a bigger change and every future set uses 2D art done by interchanging artists from now on. You guys know...that could mean a set that has Mitsuhiro on all the packs, right? Yeah. Yeah, that'll get your attention

After a half hour of attempting to buy the PC ETB and multiple crashes during the check out process, the Pokemon Center decided to IP ban me due to bot like clicking.
I was able to sign into my account an hour later (thank Arceus) but had zero preordered and of course 0 in stock on the website.

Yeah thats the "interesting" part for me ig lol. That potentially no supporters SIR this time around. Even in Night Wanderer when they reduced the typical number they still gave us one supporter SIR. Obviously with the trainers being showcased along some pokemon ex this trade make some sense.

Honestly same, with each new set coming out and the same reoccurring issues with getting product it is getting harder and harder to just suck it up like we have done in the past. I can understand it being a special set buy it is a slap in the face to the players that actually wanna play the card game, it is disheartening to say the least
Who knows but it'll be unlikely since it might be a set Reshiram with a stamp
