I love opening packs and collecting cards, but I'm tired of trying to just make a purchase to even try and collect the cards. Guess I'll just put that money towards something else.

I mean if ppl are paying 170 for pe etb prerelease. 199 a booster box might not be bad. Dca. If you can get it cheaper later, certainly snap up as much as you can

On a side note and unrelated, imo shrouded fable case of pc etb might be a play. Might be one that no one really buys up and keeps sealed. Maybe not

i really do NOT like the idea of an “enhanced” booster box with its own promo, which will probably be yet another pc exclusive with yet another pc exclusive promo that will get scalped into oblivion, and if some $200+ box that only bots ever get a chance to order becomes the only way to get the gorgeous N’s reshiram im gonna riot i s2g

I'm not one to buy booster boxes, but that N promo card is gorgeous! Lucky the decision was made for me and is already sold out at Pokecenter. Saved a lot of money.

Is this the first time Build and Battle Boxes release on the same day as the set??? I feel like there has historically been a 2 week delay for them!

Do we know if the “box topper” promo is in ** ALL ** booster boxes or *just* the Pokémon center one??


Lastly….what does the following mean?:

• More than 30 Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations

Do we think this means illustration rares ?? Are we going to get “trainer IRs”??
OR DO WE THINK this simply saying “the trainer and Pokémon are in art together” but it’s on normal cards??

I love the pack art idk what people mean by "being fake" you know those scam companies dont care about the trainers

When I was saying it looked fake I was more referring to the basic-ish background instead of the usually action packed artwork

Well it's goodbye to Pokemon Center ETB's for me now! That's the second ETB that has sold out immediately.

Dang I was working when this was announced and it's already out everywhere. No fun allowed I guess.

At least since this is a normal set and not a special one like Prismatic Evolutions, I hope that the prints will be plentiful months after launch.

Box toppers!! Love that they’re making a return. That said… I can’t believe that LITERALLY EVERYTHING on Pokemon Center is already out of stock. Seriously? I get the ETBs to an extent (still stupid), but everything else? It’s literally been 12 hours… I just want to open a few packs… I miss the G and F blocks. Maybe I should stop playing for a while?
