New trademarks for Mega Brave (メガブレイブ) and Mega Symphony (メガシンフォニア) have been filed by Pokemon. They’re under the same terms as trademarks used for set names in the past.

We usually discover trademarks around six to eight months before their sets release, so we could see these in as early as July. However, trademarks are sometimes revealed out of order, pushing their release dates later into that range.
These set names seem to be referring to Mega Evolutions — and thus Legends: Z-A. TCG sets usually advertise a new game within two months of release.

I really wasn't expecting that we would see anything ZA related this year. Would this mean that ZA is a summer release? But they still haven't initiated the reveal cycle, so this seems off. Unless they use these sets to print past Megas and we get the new ones next year?

I wonder if Brave and Symphony refer to Pokémon? Symphony reminds me of Mega Audino, but it would be a bit of a random Mega to choose to be the mascot of a set.

After Journey Battle Together Partners my expectations are fully lowered. Maybe like 10 Megas between both of these sets and all of them will be the fan favorites instead of the ones they never printed the first time.
knowing these guys? probably. prepare for another charizard y ex that's worse than the charizard x ex that does 500 trillion damage despite x being 23 special attack points weaker than y, a blastoise ex that either buffs itself or does damage to the bench, a venusaur ex that heals itself, another Rayquaza that breaks the meta or at least massively shapes it, and prepare for all other mega ex cards to either suck majorly or be decent at best. Look, folks, we all love megas but I find it difficult to actually be excited for them again in the tcg. Of course, we'll almost certainly get new ones in Z-A but....I'm not hopeful about the quality and variety of returning ones.

This does have me HYPED. But yeah although Id love for them to complete the megas (Mega Banette missing was a special crime) Im not sure they will gave them enough space/sets to do so. After all there will be the new ones + the mandatory popular ones which are a lot. Hoping Gen X is indeed late 2026 so we could still have a potential full year of PLZA for the tcg

I think that Pokemon's going to release the Mega sets in 2026. It wouldn't make too much sense for them not too. Although, while they did imply the main focus of the H block would be Paradox Pokemon, the focus ended up shifting towards Stellar Tera Pokemon in the second half. But at the same time, I don't feel like it would make much sense for them to tease a big focus on Trainer's Pokemon in the I block and then have the final two sets make them take a backseat for Mega Evolutions.

Also, my biggest hope for the return of Megas is that they have them play more in the style of Pokemon Level X and Pokemon BREAK than how they did in the XY era. God, can you imagine a Mega Charizard ex with how the game currently is?
