“Supercharged Breaker” Featuring Tera Pikachu ex Officially Revealed!

Pikachu look eh, idk what it can be used for rlly. It is an upgrade for miridon tho from mewtwo

Calling it now, Tera Pikachu SIR will be the money card of the set. It might even beat out Greninja.

Gravity Mountain seems to be a nifty way to reach some annoying damage thresholds. Miracle Intercom is huge for Control decks if you expect your usual Ace Specs to get sniped by Lost Vacuum.

Pikachu ex/Magneton/Terapagos as a package seems really hard to evaluate. Pikachu's Ability is great in theory, but the deck will get eaten alive by spread strategies like Dragapult that can ping Pikachu for 10. Still, Pikachu on its own might supplant Terapagos ex in some Area Zero Subdepths strategies since it's a Basic Tera Pokemon that's less vulnerable to Boss's Orders.

These two stadiums are just another nail in the coffin for anything not beeing a base EX Pokémon.
Why is Pokémon so eager to release cards always pushing basics and restricting stage 2?
Please... Do it the other way around a bit more!

With this terapagos, all gen IX mon have got a regular card. We still don't have an eternatus regular card yet from the gen VIII mon.
No not yet: we still have Hydrapple, who is yet to get a regular card. So far, Hydrapple is only available as Hydrapple ex. Once both Hydrapple and Eternatus are both released, all 1,025 Pokémon will have had at least one regular card each. Eternatus will get a regular card one day, we just have to wait a little longer for it. The Ultra Beasts could do with being updated as well, all eleven of them.

Baby Terapagos is actually good with Steller Tera Pikachu ex. Usually these types of charge attacks aren’t worth it, but since Pikachu can’t normally be gusted and KO’d thanks to its ability, it looks like you can use Baby Terapagos’s charging attack and get the 300 damage off relatively scot-free. That looks awesome

Maybe Terastal Fest is where Baby Hydrapple comes along.

Hmm… Pikachu could be good as a replacement to Mewtwo ex in Area Zero Miraidon, as it has a lower retreat cost and is harder to KO with its ability.
Of course, nobody’s going to use it that way. Instead everyone’s just going to power it up with terapagos (or some other method), use Gravity mountain + topaz bolt to one shot the defending Pokémon, then tank a hit, get pennied up, power up with Magneton, and then take another KO. Fun times

Tell that to Cramorant, Toxtricity, Centiskorch, Grapploct and many other gen 8 pokémon that got cards in the SV era.
Eternatus didn't get regural card in SV era where he belongs so he also won't get any in SV era. Those others got their first regural cards in their own generation era
