Long time IMO. Yay for magnezones complete op IMO.
Art in this set is just amazing.
Charizard shiny is so epic looking.
 
This set definitely kicks butt. I am very impressed. The Shinies are great. The Trainers are game-chaning. I'm looking forward to building some sick Plasma decks. Paddizzle is a champion. Where's Venusaur? :[

He/she got left behind in the Dark Explorers set, sadly.
 
Man, I kind of regret preordering one of the decks now.

Maybe I'll just keep it sealed, that'd look better than the 11 cards in a binder anyway.
 
I was thinking about buying a japanese box of this set, but now I'm almost tempted to get a english one as well.. :p
 
I wonder how the format will shape up. I mean, now with Team Plasma Ball, donks will probably be back. Lugia EX can now attack on T1 very easily...

How can you T1-Donk with Lugia EX?! That's minimum 3 attachments (DCE, Plasma, One other Energy). Please elaborate on this donk!

EDIT: Even with energy excel Lugia need 2-3 turns to setup properly...I'm so confused...

I'm personally gonna play Crobat, that bad-ass Posion Bat is SO GOOD.
 
Well, start with Lugia EX and if you have a DCE you only need 2 of 8 Cards in your deck since Colress Machine is a plasma card and Plasma Ball can get it. Maybe not very easily, but definitely not that hard to attack T1 with it.

Sadly, plasma ball only gets plasma pokemon cards. It'd be broken if it was all plasma cards.

Well the good news is there are a lot of powerful pokemon that aren’t EX’s, and some very interesting abilities (Clefable, Magnezone). The team plasma mechanic with Colress Machine and Plasma Ball, WOW.
And junk arm as an Ace Spec, awesome.

Now with the 4 EX’s in this set how many do Japan have that we don’t yet?
I count Black Kuyram, White Kuyram, Keldeo, Landorus, Cresselia, and Celebi that should be in our next set.
Then Cobalion, Articuno, Victini and Lugia are there some Im missing?

Also Gallade, Giratina, Gardevor, Sygliph that will be fun to test.

I love them for making this card.

Plasma's cards are strange, as they are more of a loose collection rather than a dedicated theme. They need better synergy between all the cards. Hopefully we'll get some better cards for the group in the future. Overall, a great set

moltres and zapdos were confirmed for getting EX cards in japanese theme decks

Manaphy's Hydration attack is listed as costing {W}{C} on the spoiler. It's really just {W} only.
Rotom's attack is not called "Energy Bonus"; it is called "Elec Bonus", possibly even "Watt Bonus".
Are we sure that Kirlia's Confusion is paralyzing the targets? ...Yes. Yes you are.
On Beheeyem's Damage Kinesis attack, I see absolutely nothing about discarding Energy. From my limited grasp of the language, I think it "moves 6 damage counters from 1 of your Benched Pokemon onto the Defending Pokemon". But I could be off.
"Phanphy"'s attacks are all on one line.
Doduo has an attack called "Bullet Pecks"? Silly translators; I can tell that actually says "Machine Gun Peck" :p
Togetic's Sweet Kiss lets the user draw 1 card? or the opponent? In the history of TCG, it's always been the opponent. Is it different now?
Skarmory's Steel Wing on the spoilers does not list its damage amount of 40.
Bouffalant's first attack is Tool Breaker, not Seal Breaker.
The scan of the Trubbish in the Plasma Half Deck is...well, blinding.
Watchog's "Fast Snach" attack is missing a T.

I misread Heatmor's "Licking Fire" attack as "Lucky Fire". Now I'm going to be going back and forth misreading those two names all week.
