Eelektrik, charging up a T2 Rayquaza EX near you. Rayquaza EX also does the same thing. Victini is just 2 free prizes IMO.

yeah but the chances of getting 2-3 energy off a Celestial Roar or getting 2 eels up AND 2 energy in the discard by T2 is very unlikely. Celestial Roar will more often than not cause you to discard things, while you can't really rely on an eel engine until T3/4 and onwards due to it being a stage 1. So Victini greatly increases your early game consistency with getting energy out (and indirectly helps getting energy in the discard too) While his second attack isn't that bad either (although it isn't ideal to attack with him). I will admit that victini would be better with twins and we don't have that card, but I think that alot of people are just writing him off because of the hp and EX factor, which is a big mistake. Look at Ho-oh EX and Kyogre EX, they were both "bad" EX's, but Kyogre was in the nats winning deck, and Ho-oh has won quite a few BR's in a row. Victini imho has alot of potential and shouldn't be overlooked as just "2 free prizes."

I just don't think it's worth it. Yeah, it can charge a T2 Rayquaza EX, but it's 120 damage and next turn, you have nothing. Victini can be Night Speared T2 (or even T1), then the opponent can catcher something else and ko Victini with snipe damage. It's not worth it.

you could run skyla and it's ace spec item to make it's attacks free, or use energy switch for a T2 180. So who cares if they attack with darkrai on T2? I'll just ko em with rayquaza before they get the ko on my victini, and even if I'm only swinging for 120, that's now 2 energy in the discard I could probably bring back the next turn (not to mention I'm still forcing darkrai to max potion or die with 120 damage). It also lets you get a fire energy whenever you want. Also after I setup eels and rayquaza (probably around T3 with a decent start) they'll have to worry about other pokemon outside of victini. If they catcher ko victini mid game, that's one more turn they're letting me get eels and rayquaza out to OHKO them back, it also saves me the trouble of having to use max potion that turn, letting rayquaza sweep for one extra turn. Finally, victini could be perfect N or Hugh bait, letting them take two prizes after you're done with tini, then playing N or Hugh to give them a small hand.

The reason I think Charizard might reach the 100 dollar priceline is that he's one of the most popular pokemon, and the shiny looks absolutely sick, and it's a pretty good card in playablity. Victini, again will most likely only be a tech in Rayquaza decks. When this set comes out, I do think steel decks will get some play. Water decks will also have some hope...

charizard will definitely be worth more than the average SR, but I doubt it will go much higher than shiny catcher at best...

I havn't posted much at all, but I'm going to give some feedback on the new Plasma Cobalion Ex is pretty good, 100 damage flat- no extra effects, so it will kill most pokemon in two hits, Giant Cape Wailord and Kyurem Ex in three.

Kyurem EX has a Weakness to Steel not a Resistance so it would 1 hit Kyurem EX even with a Giant Cape-Eviolite attached.

[M][M][C] Steel Bullet: 100 damage. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, or any other effects on the Defending Pokemon.

it 2hko's every pokemon in the format, regardless of weakness, resistance, eviolite, tools, etc. (much like giratina EX's attack, except giratina can hit for weakness). and that's why it's so awesome.

no I don't think so. He was quoting someone who was talking about cobalion EX and responded accordingly, so I don't see why he would be talking about BK EX.... (correct me if I'm wrong)

Edit: wait nvm, I'm pretty stupid for posting this... please ignore this post =.=

Shiny Charizard YES! Dammit dammit YES! Hopefully it won't be too overpriced when it comes out in English, since (unlike Shiny Quaza) we're already getting its non-shiny counterpart in Boundaries Crossed...

We are getting it. It won't be as expensive as Shiny Rayquaza, because it isn't as playable and it has a regular coming before it.
