My closest pre-release is 2 hours away from my home, and 4 and a half from my college. Will I still suck if I can't attend?

thank you KnivesMonroe. i'm also making a banner for my pokebeach signature which i hope to finish within the upcoming week. :]

the closest pre-release to where i live is about...12 minutes? i would love to go but my parents would disapprove because they don't know much the whole pokemon league stuff and would probably hover over me instead of leaving if i don't have at least one person i know with me... plus, i don't have my licence yet and i'm 17 so i'd have to at least have them in the car with me if i drove there D:

This is the BEST setin in a very long time. Probably the best since EX Ruby and Sapphire.:)

My closest prerelease is an hour and a half away, next week. I plan on going, but i have to pay my grandma $10. Good luck everyone :D

im planning on heatran X, and the metal magnezone, and a magneton (and a magnezone DP but thats not with the prerelease.)

This set is awesome. I wish they had left Miasma Valley in there. Anyway, anybody notice that misspell on the gastly's first attack? They might fix it but, who knows.

These cards are a bit TOO awesome... I guess it's a great set to go to for my first PR...

BTW, Piloswine's type on the list is wrong... it says {W} when the card's type is {F}

i live in virginia. i'm so excited and nervous about it. i don't know what to expect from the PR because this will be my first one.

I just missed out on a Raichu X trade.. Drat! I have to wait until next week now. Oh well!
I won the pre-release though. 6-0 (Including top cut). I'm impressed! That's the best I've ever done. I had an Electrode/Magneton/Cherrim deck with a Drifblim and Miltank as techs. I got pretty okay boosters! No LvX's though.

Now I'm even more anticipating the actual release of the set to get those final cards for my deck :D.

Also, we had one Charmander pulled and two Charizard's. As far as I'm aware I'm the only one to pull a SH (Voltorb). I didn't see any Charmeleons though.

Get a good night's sleep!
And then the usual! Try not to play too many energy types, play all the trainers you have (that are worthwhile), make sure you have a fair amount of basics to keep your bench stocked, but don't have TOO many pokemon. If you have too many, you end up not drawing any energy. I think I only used about 13 pokemon overall!
Mainly, the best advice I can give is good luck and be confident :). Read all of the cards you're thinking of putting into a deck before you make it and make sure that's what you want to use. Then just have faith that you can win!

P.s.
The main decks running (I hope nobody gets mad at me for saying this!) Are Dusclops, Scizor, Roselia/Roserade, Machoke and the odd Haunter or Tyrannitar. The other decks are either under powered or too messy to set up for a PR. The usual techs are Miltank and support by the like of Voltorb/Electrode. If you happen to get the Electrode with 'Radiance' Poke-Body.. And you have other Electric pokemon to match. I advise that.. It's what got me my wins! :D


SheimiGiratina: Theme decks? Like the Japanese Dusknoir/Magnezone theme cards? Either way, the theme decks coming out when the set is released are Tyrannitar and Gyarados.
