Yeah, its possible that Cres&Dark is in, but the rest of the lost link set it's unlikely IMO
Also, Clash of the summit is going to have more LEGENDS? maybe we're taking one of those...i dunno...
I agree, Lost Link is a little overpowered, but hey, in novemeber it would be good news to have a change in the format i think...Although, i hope in next Japanese sets they include some hard anti-lost thing to stop lost-link decks.

Like reprint Unown G or something similar? Something to prevent cards from going to the Lost Zone would be nice.

On topic, I am super stoked for this set. Three of my favorite pokemon are going to be Primes. (Extrapolating that we'll get Espeon) If only there was a Ninetales prime I'd declare this my favorite set of all time.
 
Why the hell wouldn't they realease Lost Link in the west? That's just nonsense... I hope they don't screw up that

They did it with the VS set because it was too powerful for the meta back then.

We don't always get the things that Japan gets. That's the unfortunate part of not being where pokemon is originally released.

Yes but that was a decision of WotC if I'm not wrong and WotC sucked... Since Nintendo decided to take care of the TCG themselves, the only cards they don't release in the west usually are Movie promo decks and some promos (mainly trophy cards)... So there's no reason to not bring Lost Link to the west...

Nobody will probably believe me when I say this, but PUSA is trying to do what they think is best for the game (They don't make money if everyone quits) There is a perfectly reasonable reason not to release lost link. It WILL destroy the meta as we know it, and transform the game into something cheap and cheesy.
 
There are plenty of cards in Lost Link that don't even use the Lost Zone mechanic, so I hope we at LEAST get those. The fewer cards we're missing from Japan, the better.

And Wizards completely botched up with regards to VS, none of those cards were broken at all. The majority of them had 50-60 HP (the highest amount of HP any Pokemon in VS has is 80 HP, and there are only six of them, one of which is the SECRET RARE!) and attacks that did 10-30 damage, even though they were "fully evolved" Pokemon.

Lost Link isn't a full set though, its only a mini set.
 
well the rumor about the lost link set right now is that we'll be getting it sometime in july so the cards will be playable at worlds, and then that stadium will be banned immediately after. Apparently the Gengar Prime/Mew Prime deck is unbeatable in japan right now and has only lost 1 match.

A) We don't get sets in July. I know this isn't a full set, but still.

B) PUSA doesn't ban cards anymore. Its been like 10 years since they have.

C) Only lost 1 match? That doesn't make sense. Like all of Japan? Competitively only? And even then I'm sure there was a mirror match that would require one to lose.

D) Gengar doesn't have much synergy with Mew. One puts stuff in their lost zone, and one puts stuff in your lost zone.

Where did you hear this? I'd like to ask to see if this is a reliable source.
 
Pretty awesome! I have a feeling we wont be getting Gengar Prime tho but oh well, I'm sure the set overall will be good. Hopefully we get some format changing cards *cough* Vileplume *cough*

I agree. Why did they do Heartgold Soulsilver sets anyways? Why not go to Black and White?

Right. And it just takes an oddish, rare candy, and vileplume to set up. Thats so much faster and easier than getting out a spiritomb. I bet you can even get one out faster than your opponent plays their first SP radar.
