I agree. Why did they do Heartgold Soulsilver sets anyways? Why not go to Black and White?

Because B/W didn't come out at the beginning of the year and HG/SS did. They plan the releases close to one another.

A) We don't get sets in July. I know this isn't a full set, but still.

B) PUSA doesn't ban cards anymore. Its been like 10 years since they have.

C) Only lost 1 match? That doesn't make sense. Like all of Japan? Competitively only? And even then I'm sure there was a mirror match that would require one to lose.

D) Gengar doesn't have much synergy with Mew. One puts stuff in their lost zone, and one puts stuff in your lost zone.

u serious? u don't see the synergy? mew displaces gengar into lost zone, now all mew has the attach gengar has which lets you look into ur opponents hand and look for a pokemon and put it in the lost zone. Not only is this super disruptive especially if they can't evolve their pokemon in time, but you pretty much win the game already as soon as the stadium is played. i would be happy if gengar prime is banned because i really see no counters against that combined with mew.
