(1) Darkrai Toys R Us Event Details [5/24]

Man, America gets the good Mystery Gift stuff. :( The last time there was an event here, I did the organizing and that was only Legit Mew via trade.

You save your game in the Mart. Then, you get Darkrai from the guy in green. If you like it, keep it, if not, turn off the game and try again. Darkrai is in your game like Manaphy, but the stats are randomized.

So when you download Darkrai, you actually retrieve it in-game in a pokemart?
 
Not sure if anyone has seen this but in Nintendo Power it says that the following GBA games will be 40% off Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, Pokemon Sapphire, and Pokemon Emerald.
 
I know at least 30 people in my city that will be mad at this not being in Canada too seriously we do still have Pokemon diamond/ pearl and we do have Toys R us so why can't we have tourneys like the showdown or events

I thought the point of the game was to catch them all apparently in Canada you can't >.>

I can't believe it!!! They're doing it at our TRU. Out town never gets stuff like this... Oh, and do Cherish balls allow you to trade via wireless or WiFi?
 
One last question, will I be able to receive this Darkrai if I already have a Darkrai from the Movie event in Japan?

Yes, you can still get Darkrai. You just can't get TWO Darkrai.

If Darkrai is like those PKTOPIA pokemon or the TCGWC pikachu it might have a set, predetermined nature... If not though it should be random; which means that shinyness (and gender, if it had one) will be as well.
 
My new pearl version finally has a use! ^_^

I'm looking forward to and will hate the event at the same time. I want darkrai, but I don't want the noobs swarming me when they want to show me their "awesome teams".

Agree with you, I live here in Mexico and the unique thing I have got is a mystickticket :[ They want us to not use Action Replay etc. but the events just don,t come a lot to our countries. Anyways thanks for the info WPM, I guess I will have to try to get it from a family member that goes a lot to the USA :F
 
why do people want to reset always the darkrai, does it change when you reset it always????
 
Yes, the Nature and IVs change. If you play competitively, you'd want a good one.
