Those pictures on the main page also contain no texture whatsoever, so I find that really strange in comparison to the usual scans I see on PokéBeach.

That's because those are digital images, not scans. We won't get scans until people can physically get their hands on the cards, and WPM won't show them until prereleases have started. Digital images are released by TPCi as promotional marketing and don't have textures, holos, or anything else that is added at the printing stage.

You must admit, though, as images these are much nicer and clearer than scans typically are. :3

Just wondering, how much does everyone think these will be worth? More/less than Thundurus/Deoxys EX?

I'm calling more. And quite a bit more. Virizion-EX is absolutely format-changing, I'm going to say the Full Art on release day will sell at £50. (Not sure if it helps American peoples, but for a sort of ratio to understand how expensive that is, Deoxys FA is currently selling here at £30.)

And that's why I love them. On the flip side they don't have a "natural lighting" to them, but such is the price of clarity.

Why do you guys still hate Catcher? It's unlikely that there'll be a rotation at this point (that or I'm dumb), besides, it's in Dark Explorers so it'd probably still stay plus if it gets reprinted the price'll go down. Win for everyone if it does get another print.

Catcher has overstayed its welcome. It's been in the format for 2 years. It needs to leave. Plus, I don't think rotation has been announced yet, so there's no way of knowing if it'll be Dark Explorers-on. I personally don't think that would be very healthy.

If Battle Carnivals in Japan are anything to go from, it'll remain BW-on. Last year while rotation was still HGSS-on, Battle Carnivals were played as BW-on regardless of the fact rotation only starts in September. So, if this year follows last year (and it may have happened more than once, this is all I'm aware of though), seeing as Japan have finished Carnivals and played BW-on we'll see the same format.
Shame really, starting to get sick of the speed.

Hopefully some cards can slow this down in XY1. The Silver tools will help vanquish EXs, too.
