(1) 'Freeze Bolt' and 'Cold Flare' Scans, Translations Coming Soon! [7/11]

kyurem EX better in what? a specific deck or in general? in general i would say Kyurem EX would be the best because it have a "good" weakness

Charizard might be played but the energy cost is too high for it to peak anywhere above tier 2 without serious help.

The Kyurem EXes really aren't good at all. They have complicated energy costs and worse backlashes than Reshiram/Zekrom EX, as well as worse weaknesses (well, you can argue it with Zeky EX, but still).

Finding a partner for landorus, well, let's see.. garbodor? :) trolling & donking, why not? maybe landorus EX/garbodor/lunatone/ether/ditto.
Scenario for turn 1: landorus and ditto in hand. Drop landorus active, ditto on bench. Attach a tool to ditto, let's say large cloak. Fighting energy for landorus, 30 active and 30 bench. (in this turn you needed: landorus, ditto, large cloak, energy and of course a supporter, otherwise it's trouble. 3 cards left, considering you drew 1 for the turn)
Turn 2: second energy for landorus, trubbish-garbodor-surprise!, lunatone, ether and if you're super lucky you have landorus ready for its second attack if needed AND ability lock.

Even if you don't manage to have the lunatone/ether engine triggered just concentrate on landorus+energy and garbodor+tool and by turn2 you're in great advantage

theorymon/speculation here, i know it may not be realistic, but hey, looks fine

it seems on the basis of awesomeness that blastoise charizard and white kyurem were destined to meet in the same deck...

How do they fit into a deck? White Kyurem EX needs Crystal Edge to be any good, and then you can't have PC Communication in the deck, so getting Blastoise/Charizard out would be VERY hard and all of the attackers require 4+ Energy for their main attack.
You could see Blastoise/White Kyurem EX, but it's not good.

inb4 someone suggests Blastoise/Charizard/Venusaur.
I still think Stoutland would be a good fun deck, but it's weak to catcher.

please explain why :)

Because not everything works with Garbage Man. The amount of deck space and setup time devoted to the Garbage Thing is very consuming. Some cards, however, work very well with the Garbage Dump, but that doesn't mean every card does.

As for Landorus-EX with the Garbage Stuff, I'm only theorizing that it won't work very well. I have better things to test right now than the BW2 set. If it does turn out to be good, then so be it.

Potential comboes:

Raticate/Flygon
Use Raticate to bring pokemon to low HP, use Flygon to sweep all prizes in one turn

Or Raticate and Minun? Significantly easier to set up~ Not that I'm saying it's a great idea, but it's better than Raticate+Flygon.

true i really like that idea, then you can use plusle for consistency =)

it's a good idea. the downsides are hydreigon/darkrai/MAX POTION and both minun/raticate low hp (60 is a shame)
this raticate is too interesting not to find a way to make it work thou

yes but the deck will probaply be one of the fastest and most consistent in the format, being maybe the only deck that can use level ball for all its attackers, teching in terrakion for darkrai matchups maybe?

Everything is searcheble by level ball, but i wouldn't say it's that faster, since you need 3 energies on raticate and 1 on minun. the only energy acceleration can be eels or lunatone/ether. But i'm afraid they would be both ruining consistency..

Bronzong is a great idea!

as for minun, you should only use it AFTER raticate has attacked and it can be used in the late game to take all of your prizes
EDIT: a shame celebi isnt with us anymore, maybe eelektrik could work since raticate uses Colorless and minun use lightning? eelektrik is the fastest i can come up with except for Dark patch, but then we need energy switch which takes up alot of space

ReEDIT:

Made a list check it out:
4-4 Raticate
1 Lunatune
2-2 Minun-Plusle
2-2 Eelektrik
2-2 Bronzong

8 Draw Supporters
4 Level Ball
2 Ultra Ball
2 Random Receiver
2 Tool Scrapper
2 Rocky helmet
2 Catcher
2 Escape Rope
1 Computer search
2 Super rod

4 DCE
8 Lightning

really hard finding space with all these stage 1 lines and plusle Minun but please help me improve this with you ideas!

Agreed, dark patch/energy switch pattern isn't viable. I promote eel as the best way to accelerate energies. In my mind there are 2 option to make raticate do the job:
raticate/minun/bronzong/eel (strategy is to super fang multiple pokemon, deny healing items with bronzong, recover from raticates KOs with eels and go for the gg with minun)
raticate/amoongus/eel (set up a team of mushrooms, sporprise every turn for OHKOs and recover with eels)

The built has to be in both cases straight-forward, i mean: 4 catcher, 4 level ball, 2-3 ultraballs, 3 switch, standard BW-on supporter line (4 juni, 4 N, 2 bianca, 2 cheren) 2 super rod and 4 devolution spray in case you choose amoongus as the best partner in crime. Avarage 8 lightning energies and 4 DCEs. That's it. No aspertia, no bicycle, no tools/tool scrapper, and so on.

the thing is getting going :)

glad to see i'm not the only one so excited about this issue :)

here is my list:

18 pokemon
4-4 raticate
3-3 amoongus
2-2 eelektrik

10 supporters
4 N
4 juniper
2 bianca

19 trainers
4 level ball
3 ultra ball
3 switch
3 devolution spray
4 catcher
1 super rod
1 computer search (ace spec)

13 energies
4 DCE
9 lightning

suggestions are welcome! :)

Escape rope over switch if using minun, because it can act as an replacement for catcher ;)
in amoongus, catcher might not be needed, you will OHKO anything anyways, i would rather try for consictency

how about this?

4-4 Raticate
1 Lunatune
2-2 Eelektrik
3-3 amoongus

12 Draw Supporters
4 Level Ball
2 Ultra Ball
2 Random Receiver
4 Devolution sray
2 switch
1 Computer search
2 Super rod

4 DCE
8 Lightning

I would take out lunatone (why running 1? without ether? i really don't see the use for it) in favor of an extra lightning energy. Also, i think catcher is a staple, since you do want to OHKO whoever you want :) maybe not 4, but 3 is a must IMO
