(1) Genesect Wi-Fi Event Starting October 7th [9/7]

When I say "parallel", the main thing that comes to my mind is not in terms of being a sequel but more about the Pokémon. Since Gen V has a lot of pokémon similar to Gen 1's, and Gen II introduced evolutions for some of those, I thought Gen VI would introduce new evolutions for Gen V pokémon.

Why would they delay Meloetta to February? It's going to be in the dub anime next month, it's movie 15 short should be premiering with the Kyurem and Keldeo movie, which is without a doubt premiering this year, and in Pokedex 3D Pro, which releases in two months.

Genesect hasn't been officially revealed in the US yet. This is just a leaked ad. Going from what TPCi did with Keldeo, Genesect will get an official reveal soon, which TPCi has a few weeks to do before B2W2 are released. In which anytime over the course of the next three weeks, they could easily still reveal Meloetta before Genesect.
 
So, TPCi's got three weeks to reveal both Meloetta and Genesect. Two Mythical Pokemon. Let's see how this goes.

Well, Genesect is officially revealed in the US now. I still think Meloetta has a good chance of being distributed in-store for Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 starting on B2W2's launch day as well.
