I had forgotten about either Shaymin or Mismagius (speaks for how long I've been in this format). What you point out makes sense, so I'll just back down on the debate and try Goth anyway when it comes out.

actually you can use this set-up : Tornadus - Gothitelle - Jirachi - Shaymin

Tornadus will be your set-up pokemon/ first attacker. since its second attack requires that you transfer an energy on another pokemon you can exploit this rule to transfer it to an evolving goth line or a goth on your bench. When your tornadus gets knocked out you'll have theoretically enough psychic energy for jirachi to try to exploit. if you get good rolls then it will be time to place shaymin to further power-up goth. of course this is all therymon but probably worth play-testing or used as a fun deck in local leagues.

you can also add mismagius line to this as well...

Best Deck ever. Gothitelle plus Kingdra Prime. You can get second turn wins and also be able to kill opponents like Magnezone. There will be a lot of hype because of Gothitelle but honestly I could care less.
