RE: (1) GS REMAKE COMING!! [5/2]
I'm hoping for remakes just as much as (most) everyone else, and I don't doubt that they'll come out at some point. That being said, however, it's rather childish to assume hints as facts, and refuse to accept the fact that there is a possibility of being wrong.
This has not been officially confirmed in any way, and as such, I refuse to bother getting excited or to get my hopes up until Nintendo - Not Pokebeach - announces it, as Nintendo - not Pokebeach - is an official source.
Again, I'm not doubting their release, I'm not saying anyone is wrong, I'm saying that this is purely speculation. There is no solid, undeniable proof of remakes as of yet, and because of that, I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon until I see something that offically says "Yes, we are remaking the games that you love so much."
Like Dimentio said. These "hints" are only such if you want them to be. Speculation is what you want to believe it to be, fact is something that is undeniable, infallible, and completely proven. The release of GS remakes are not fact, they are speculation. Yes, the signs are there and everything does point towards the release of remakes, and I'm sure they'll come out with them.
My problem is that I don't quite like how much speculation gets posted as "news", when it's not news. This is one of the reasons I prefer using Serebii's news instead. The news posted there is actual news, whereas here, we get a lot of speculation and frankly, it just isn't very professional.
In the slim chance that the remakes aren't being revealed next week, this speculation "news" will have successfully angered 90% of the members. That doesn't sound like a good idea to me. I don't mind having theories posted and whatnot, but posting theories as "news" is just stupid.
Also, as a side note, your opinion of DPt is pure opinion, FireMeowth. Personally, I liked GSC better than any other game so far, and that again is my opinion. Telling someone their opinion is wrong is about as stupid as telling someone the sun is made of water.
