(1) 'Keldeo Figure Box' Product Image Revealed! [8/8]

gah, instead of releasing these garbage box sets, they should have just released precons that are a step up to theme decks, and don't have the limitation of having pokemon from only one set, that precons do, and make them tournament ready, and make the cover card exclusive to that deck.

I kind of like that idea, in a more competitive way. Unfortunately, I'm a collector, so that would make my life much harder. Plus TPCI isn't just going to give us good tourney-ready cards, unless the price was really high.

Ahem, singles market. How many box sets did they release this year? That is quite a lot. We are getting box sets left and right, and I really think that instead of releasing tons of box sets, they should have released epic collection precons instead. I'm not say they should abandon box sets, but there are some box sets that are completely dumb. Excellent emboar box set and its friends for example.

Just think of these as equivalents to Magic's event decks. Also, how much do these box sets cost? Around $20? Therefore, these precons that are a step up from theme decks are also $20.

As I said, these decks won't be restricted to one set. It uses any card from any set as long as it is modified legal. These decks I would say are to be released in pairs, that is, you get 2 choices, twice a year. The cards within uses the expansion symbols that the cards were originally from, as such, they don't have their own expansion symbols compared to the trainer kits, which do have their own expansion symbols.

Basically, Magic has intro packs and event decks
Yugioh has Starter decks and Structure decks.
Pokemon has Theme decks and no other precon product that is tournament legal.

Box sets that are dull and boring should be replaced by epic collection precons.

Yeah. More singles for me to have to hunt down. They are releasing too many box sets that are quite useless. Also, I don't really care about, much less know anything about, yugiyoh & magic, so I can't really argue about that. But yeah $20-$25 for good precon decks sounds like a reasonable number.

The only one I got is the kyurem box.
I vow never to get a box again.

Since they're releasing this box, and the release date for BW7 has been reviled but not the name, I have this suspicion that Keldeo might be the star of the next set, rather then Black and White Kyurem (Similar to how Mewtwo was the star of Next Destinies). Keldeo has been getting so much promotion lately from Gamestop distribution, to boxes, and the Kyurem forms have gotten next to nothing so far. That's probably not going to happen, but it's not to unlikely.

Another note. The Keldeo Promo actually doesn't seem half bad. It could be nice as a starter for Blastiose decks.

A third note. I think that the image will be the final product, meaning regular Keldeo card, Keldeo EX Jumbo. The first info about the box was probably just a typo.

I have a feeling that the november set's theme decks are going to feature Blastoise and Charizard. Ah what am I kidding. These 2 cards are too powerful to be theme deck mascots.

If they were epic collection mascots nod nod wink wink...

Japan gets EX cards as their precon deck mascots, like Zekrom EX and Reshiram EX. I think we should have an epic collection precon that has EX cards as the mascot, and make them cost double that of theme decks. I already explained the contents a few posts above. That would sell way more than those crappy shelf warming box sets.

Imagine in March of next year, they sold Keldeo EX, and um, uh let's say, Landorus EX epic collection precons?

Alas, these things are targetted at parents buying presents for kids. I know any kid would cry if they see something ridiculously flat and small being wrapped as a present. Even if they don't cry, having that rectangular prism makes it a surprise. Is it Pokemon cards or 25 hot wheels cars?

I really like the Keldeo Box so I'm going to get my hands on one as soon as they're released since Keldeo is my favorite pokemon as it's adorable and cute since it's a pony.

I'm thinking that it will be Keldeo, B Kyurem, W Kyurem, & one other as the main pokemon.

the should make a pokemon catcher box where the jumbo is a gold pokemon catcher but not the regular promo card that would be just too great

Can't wait for this! I will buy 3-4 of them. I think we might see a Keldeo tin in November / December. We could also see the movie in December.
