There's a video of people in Japan, who made a giant AR card, like 50 feet by 50 feet, something like that. They brought it to a big hangout/meetup/central park-ish kind of thing, and they had one of them go into a building with a 3DS, and made a giant Samus from Metroid, and it was bigger than the nearby buildings!

The AR (Augmented Reality) Cards are the six cards that come with each 3Ds system. Use the 3DS camera on them to show some graphic as if it's right there in front of you.

Awesome! It would probably hurt to do it with such rare cards, but maybe you could make AR Codes and tape them onto the cards. Maybe you could do it with the Starters?

Well, it would be impractical and inconvenient in the first place. I'm certainly not going to be holding a 3DS and my hand at the same time. If anything, they should make an actual TCG game for the 3DS and have both players use a single AR card.

Well yeah, but it would still be fun to have AR TCG Cards.

Also, I'm still doing math for my life-size Zekrom. Just to have an idea about my whole life-size project, I might actually make the Starters.

Only one concern about life-size AR Cards: Ink and paper.

From what I read, once you get 100 total stickers (easily done when you reach 50 Pokemon), you'll unlock a feature that allows you to switch between Model and Standard mode. Right now, the graphics are models and certainly not to scale. I believe Standard will show their actual size relative to the size of the AR Marker. Should make measurements easier with that.

As for making the Marker, if you're looking to just make one specific Marker, you can just buy the paper necessary and a black wide marker and draw it yourself. May need a yardstick as well.

So far i have 90 pokemon and i just have to say the action for kyurem is just horrible i expected something big like it to just use some ice blast or something for those of you who did not get kyurem yet will know what i am talking about when you do get him

I managed to work out the pattern that was occurring with the special QR cards for the 3D Pokedex. So I just made all the other cards there should be using that pattern.

It's got all the Pokemon there, it even unlocks 6 (Victini, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Reshiram, and Zekrom). The only Pokemon it's missing are the last four. (Keldeo, Meloette song form, Meloetta dance form, and Genesect)

I'm not sure if there are cards for those Pokemon yet, so that might be why I can't find their codes. However, I did manage to find the codes for all the alternative forms, and so I put them all in order on my blog.
