(1) Pokemon X and Y Announced! [1/8]

Maybe Finnekin is called the Fire Fox Pokemon. Foxfire!(Inuyasha reference.) Still judging by the graphics there is probably gonna be a lot of new moves and new Pokemon.

There's a room shown briefly with fire blazes activated when the character enters it. Probably a fire gym?

"The games will be in full 3D and will use cel shaded CG graphics - gone are the days of 2D sprites! "

I am depressed forever.

The 3D is beautiful.

I can't wait for X and Y.

The legendaries look great too, particularly the first one, I'll probably get whichever game features that mascot.

I'm hoping for a Dark Type Gym

I think they showed too many IMO Before, we got silhouettes 3 maybe even 1 at a time!

they didn't have to @SilentSlayer the news is exciting enough in of itself xD

I am depressed forever.

Sprite splicers are going to have a heck of a time trying to splice the new Pokemon, hehe.

I'm curious if i can trade over my old pokes from V Gen? I guess i will have to wait to find out!

Probably through a PokeTransfer sort of thing. If not then not at all. I think this is completley new design and a new system so it would be hard to do that.

bears a striking resemblance to the Baroque Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte.

Just outside Paris too.

It looks like there's a Palpitoad and a Golurk (?) in the statue in the water.

Baroque Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte seems to fit. First thought about Versailles, but there is neither a moat nor a bridge in front of it. Also you can see for less than a second of the trailer (just after the cut from the riverside scene to the bridge in front of the castle) that there is someting on top of the chateau's central building.

I'm going to go ahead an guess the types of the starters, which would be Grass/Dark, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Flying(or fighting)

this is based only off of the moves I saw them using in the clip...

Nice find. I guess you can catch and battle a good amount of Gen V Poke in this game.

Crap. Well, there goes all my EV trained Pokemon. :( I'm sure Game Freak will come up with something.
