There is also Pokemon Smash coming up. I assume they will say about this and may reveal the name of the legendaries.
If it is a worldwide release, we will likely have leaks from both sides of the globe!

I'm not extremely crazy about Generation 1 and I've hardly ever met a Pokemon I didn't like.
The designs for everything revealed (Pokemon-wise) are just disappointing. I'm hoping the battle system is at least revamped or different.

You know, the trailer was great and all, but I can't help but feel like there's something else going on with these games. They've hyped the hell out of them and I highly doubt it was just for "OMG 3D!!!!!!!!" which is pretty much all we know about the games so far. I have a feeling that the next time we hear about these games they'll reveal a truly revolutionary new feature.
I just realized something about the Legendaries. I don't know if anyone already said it or thought of it already. The Y legendary's flying in the sky which possibly means he's a flying type. The X legendary is walking around in the forest, anyone thinking he/she is a grass type?
The designs of the protagonists and the French-based setting remind me a lot of the movie Hugo. I'm also glad to see that we're getting old Pokemon during the story again, including Pikachu! (Finally you can catch Pikachu again!)
And I'm really looking forward to this gen, but it would suck horribly if we have another "generation break" like with G/S-R/S as a lot of other people said. Wait for Reshiram and Zekrom to be demoted to event Pokemon just like Ho-Oh and Lugia were in Gen III
To be honest, I think that they announced Gen VI a bit too soon after B2W2. We had the same problem when B/W were announced/released too soon after HGSS.

Imagine the new region is based on Paris and its surrounding areas. Look at the image - Paris is at A, and if you incorporate England you get a nice area to traverse!

There's a Celtic god called Cernunnos that fits the stag quite well. He is often accompanied by 'ram-headed' snakes and was known in Gaul as a myth, which makes me think it could be relevant.
There's a Parisian statue called The Pillar of the Boatmen that depicts Cernunnos as well.

Is anyone else thinking that the Pokémon seen in the wild in the video are unlikely to be found in the same situations in the game? For instance: THERE'S A MAGIKARP FIGHTING ON GRASSLAND, and a Golurk, which seems unlikely to happen. It does say 'Game footage not final' under the screen during the video, too. I think the Pokémon shown in the video were just placeholders in a display of the new battle system.
Come on Pokemon X Grass/Electric!!! Ive always wanted to see that combo in a Tree Pokemon,But perhaps this Elk.Irish Elk it looks like.
If they make Pokémon Z, the mascot must be Porygon-Z. And all attacks must take 3 turns to charge (ala DBZ )

Pokemon Z is Fighting/Electric Each quater of its health it loses makes it stronger.
Honestly... I'm just gonna say what I liked and what I didn't like based on first impressions:
I like the titles and theme, the whole X and Y thing, possibly a Z-named game after... I even saw a comment on another site where someone said the legendaries may be based on norse mythology (check Yggdrasil on wikipedia)...
Don't like the grass starter,
the water starter is meh,
The fire starter is by far the better and the only one I truly like.
Yet, frogs and foxes again is a bit annoying (not so much for fennec)
Also, they look like they were drawn by CascadeGonpory (not saying that's a bad thing), but look more like the typical fakemon we usually see...
I kinda like the Bird legendary but I'm still suspicious about it. Don't like the deer at all! Looks anorexic. Then, people say Dialga looks like an abomination. And didn't they have anything better for a legendary? Where are the dragons?
I'm definitely gonna need Sugimori artwork for these two...
Never really like fully 3D games, so I'm not very happy about this, specially since there are no more 2D sprites, which was something I really liked in the pokémon games...
Also, I don't like that these new gen seems to have nothing to do with the previous one... They basically ignored gen 5 and there's no more hope for the original dragon. Now I think I hate Black and White Kyurem since they should have done an original dragon forme instead of 2 half-Kyurem formes...
Maybe this is just the initial shock of change, I'll see later when they start to reveal more pokémon...
