I really hope that's true. But I am by default skeptical with anything from 4Chan. Because, 4Chan. o-o

In retrospect though... its true that any of these unconfirmed leakers have just as much legitimacy as the next.

I don't know anything about the "Wottergate Scandal", but I will take everyone's word on that this has happened before. I wasn't a forumer or even a lurker of forums at that point, I didn't become one only until recently. I just remember seeing the evolutions on PB one day with a description that said something about the possibility of them not being real.

I'm kind of thinking that it's fake at this point. It was convincing until I saw that picture with the signature and everything. Pretty sure it's the same image on the 3DS.

Call me a hater... but with that color and that specific type of hair, this looks like it can directly evolve into Sonic.

Better.... but still does not have my seel of approval. There are a few design ques that are different than the actual image, for example the head in the actual image is much narrower, giving it a completely different look. I think I like the art better than the screenshot though at least... o-o

A computer person or two, and someone pointing out the glare is off from the angle. Eh, they could be wrong and it could be real. I don't know much about computers, so I'm giving the computer guy a the benefit of the doubt.

With the bigger image of it, I now see that it's head has a mechanical appearance and doesn't seem to match the rest of it's body.

EDIT: Nevermind, you meant the fan artwork. Well, most people put signatures on their artwork of other Pokemon anyway so I don't really think it means that much, although it could be a hint that it was designed by a fan.

@Zielo: The Wottergate Scandal/Incident happened after June 2010. The evolutions being leaked and descriptions of how they were supposedly fake was Wottergate.

Yeah, but what if this fanart did actually come first? The design itself could have indeed originated as fan work, also it's in the same pose as the sprite. I probably am wishing it to be fake too much.
