Funny. You complain about me cherry picking, and you go and do the same. I got that part after the first two times you responded. That doesn't change the fact that you still favor it more than you used to.
I never cherry-picked. I responded to what you said. You obviously didn't get it the first two times I responded since I never said anything remotely similar to "Now that it's official, I LOVE it!" I said that I liked it a bit better now that I have seen better artwork. I am still not a big fan of it, and yet you continue to make it seem as if I did a 180 just because it's been confirmed to be real.
Yeah, I favor it more than I did before. So? If two people draw a picture of the same thing, I am allowed to favor one image more than the other.
Only because people are more enticed by them. They could have worse quality in every other sense. A beautiful woman can be a complete monster on the inside. Just like most 360 games are worse than most Wii games. "Prettier pictures" do not make "better products". I already know why people would be attracted to them if they looked better. That doesn't mean they will be when the game is in your hands.
Are we talking about the same thing here? You can argue that it's stupid to buy a name brand product that looks prettier but is worse than the generic brand. You can argue that it isn't smart to date a person for their good looks despite an ugly personality...
...but this is Pokemon. It's a game, and the only explanation I need for liking one of the characters is that "it's pretty." There's nothing wrong with that.
Yeesh, if I wanted to debate opinions I would have gone to Newsvine instead of the Pokebeach Forums.
