This is what I think WPM should do....

Despite the fact that I really really would love to know the information that he holds, I think doing something like revealing only 1-3 things a week would be a fantastic idea. This way we won't be "thirsty" for news for soooo long like we have been in February-April, basically. This will make up for the news-less Pokémon Smash episodes and it'll resolve the problem of revealing everything at once, too.

Also, when CoroCoro comes around then our "news" for the week would be whatever the magazine brings, and WPM won't have to "leak" anything to us for the CoroCoro leak/release week because we'll already have new information to discuss.

I'm not really interested in pre evolutions, it won't make the Pokemon any better. Evolution on the other hand might be good, to make some mediocre Pokemon viable. e.g. Jynx, Dunsparce (lol).

No, I wanted WPM to consider my opinion but I also gave reasons why it might be beneficial for him to not listen to my opinion (the pros) He has every right to do what he wants. I'd like to see someone put more thought into their counter opinion than just "he owes us, I want to see the Pokemon" Explain why you think he should do it in as much detail.

1) First thing is that you are acting as if WPM has the whole story script for X&Y! To be honest the info he may have is the new mechanics, new moves and a list of the new pokemon. These is hardly ground-breaking spoilers and is seriously not a big deal as we won't be seeing the gameplay in action or the official art of the Pokemon. Imagine getting a list of the pokedex and attacks and people talking about what they would look like only knowing the names and types. May see some new evolutions too! I even doubt he has the whole list to be honest.

2) This would also give something competitive battlers and maybe casuals something to be very excited about and discussion would be booming. We personally won't fully know how things would work and many speculation can come from this by people giving their opinion etc etc. For example, the Fairy type. So in the long run, it would not be a bad thing. I personally think you just think you would get the story spoiled. I bet you looked at that massive list of the gen 5 pokes?

3) When B&W was being leaked, all I wanted to know were the new moves, pokes and mechanics as I am mainly a competitive battler. But since I also enjoy playing the new games as well, it was completely easy for me to avoid everything else like the story, events, the games routes and trainers etc etc. Guess what I did??? Did not click youtube gameplay videos (the game came out like 6 months before released outside Japan), stayed off specific forum topics like serebii/pokebeach (which was quite easy) where stuff like the story and specific events were being discussed. I did not click walk-through spoiler tags. So when I played the game, it was still new to me. I was only familiar with the new Pokemon and moves. X&Y is NO DIFFERENT to this. Anybody making excuses are only those who know they would crack. I don't like seeing it being exaggerated that it would be impossible to escape spoilers.

In general what I'm saying is... whatever he has would not be so dramatic that the game would be ruined forever. He does not know the plot, he does not know how to 100% the game. The leaks would help the overall excitement for the game as we would know just about enough to keep us satisfied until release. Those who then want more are those who want the whole game spoiled. I would be interested to see what you say.

I dont think he has as much as we think he has either, but I think the biggest thing people dont want to be spoiled of is the new Pokemon. When it comes down to it, I think the new Pokemon are the most intriguing part of the game. I saw all of the Black and White Pokemon before they came out and pretty much nothing else of the game. I enjoyed the game but felt pretty empty because I felt like I was not discovering anything new. I know it wont be difficult for me to avoid threads like this if it comes down to it, but I'd prefer not to so I can continue to discuss the game with (hopefully) only limited spoilers.

Oh btw, the 5th gen was the first new generation I got back into since the 2nd gen. So I was looking at all the reveals out of curiosity because I wasnt planning on getting the games like gen 3 and 4. I ended up getting them of course.

I just remember back on Gold when I stumbled across a Smeargle (I didnt catch it...) and had no clue what it was even for a long time because I wasnt familiar with the new Pokemon. Its that kind of thing that I think makes the Pokemon games great. I just dont want to risk hearing of spoilers when I frequently use this site for trades and other things. Even hearing what they look like can spoil some things. If WPM tells us anything, I hope he first starts off by telling us what kind of information he holds. Like new Pokemon information or other stuff. That would at least prepare us for what we need to avoid.

I know my opinion doesn't matter in this, but you have really good points. Especially in number two. I was the same way.
