Some areas in the game will have different methods for the player to get around. eg. The riding, rollerskates and rail grinding we've seen.

Hopefully Shofu is wrong or it's a possible option to turn on, otherwise things are going to get pretty bad (or rather worse).

I think it was probably turned off to not show anymore new Pokemon. Or it could an option to turn on and off, I doubt they would take it away completely.

My guess is you can't rollerskate through grass / on routes? And the grid is mostly for traversing in the tall grass.
 
I was thinking that too, but then I wasnt sure... you'd think that if there were any different Pokemon in the mix, they'd just say something like "Woah! A horde of Pokemon appeared!", rather than being species-specific. And there are a lot more pictures of them being species specific. And it also seemed odd that they coincidentally chose Tauros and Miltank to demonstrate that with.

Idk.. I think its possible. Im not holding my breath for it or anything though.

probably still in the grid, just in bigger predeterminded steps or something along those lines, but too hard to explain so they just said that lol

Since we are talking about music now, has anyone else found it strange that no music has been previewed? I am still hoping for French House to be the main theme...

^Whoops! didn't sign in!

Also, am I the only person glad team preview might be removed? It makes it more realistic, you don't runn up to a trainer and say, "Hey, look at all these pokemon I might use against you, lets battle!" Yes it gets rid of the skill of picking your order and lead etc. But I don't feel like that should have been a thing in the first place.
 
OH. Shofu didn't see team preview because it was a 1-on-1 battle. You don't get to see team preview if neither players can rearrange their Pokemon. =p

Probably like 99% sure they _are_ staying.

Anyway, Horde mode. Pokemon just went full Gears of War. You never go full Gears of War.

Really liking the better music and eight directional movement is great. Also Clauncher is a superb name and makes up for his appearance and Talonflame, while not the best name, still looks awesome. I only hope there is a third evolution with a little bit better name.

Because team preview is so cheap and so many people depend on it. Just choose your favorite pokemon and have fun battling. Don't stress about winning. It's a game. It's battling in a game.
Plus, taking team preview out is more fair. You have just as much of an advantage as your opponent at all times.
