(1) 'Wild Blaze' Booster Pack and Charizard Deck Images! [12/16]

I want it to be as good as you think it'll be too! I really do. It's just since we're in a format of high powered high hit point EX's, two stage two's isn't as viable as it was when the emboar deck ran rampant (as well as everything prior to that).

where are the pics? Im spoiled, lol, on GGD , the pics are always in the Original Post so people know what they are discussing

Pictures would be on the front page, as indicated by the name of this forum being Front Page News.

Editing to keep this on-topic: I like the artwork on the pack for Charizard X, and I don't like Charizard Y at all so that doesn't matter to me. Hoping for a usable Charizard card to finally be printed.

lol. The set being called Wild Blaze has nothing to do with it having a Fire-type Mega... Wild Blaze will be the name of the attack of Mega Charizard X, like all other sets before (except base sets like BW or XY)... And it'll most likely be a Dragon-type card, as Mega Charizard Y will already be Fire-type and M-Charizard-X is a Mega which features a type change, so they will want to reflect that on the cards... Expect the same to be done with Mewtwo Y and Mewtwo X...

btw, a set focused solely on Charizard?
F*** Yeah!

Charizard EX should be Fire type, even if Mega Charizard X is Dragon type. You guys seem to forget that normal Charizard isn't a Dragon type.

Normal Scyther isn't Metal, either. Doesn't mean Scizor can't be. (Heck, they've never done a COLORLESS Scyther, either, despite that being a perfectly valid option for a Flying-Type Pokemon.) When a Type change is involved, they don't always ignore it...

Does anyone think these Mega Charizards are going to get a little pricy after awhile?
I know they're not shining or Lv.X cards, but do you think people will hold them a little over valued?
The fact that they'll be in sets lowers their value alot. But over time, who thinks their price will rise like most other Charizards in the past?

As far as fire being viable, delphox isn't currently. It's got a good ability reminiscent of claydol and porygon2 from years past, but it's a stage 2. I don't think it'll see much competitive use since energy acceleration would be necessary, and running emboar (a second stage 2) is not the best idea.

Then tell me how David Cohen's MagneBoar did so well to win Worlds in their time. Or Gardevoir/Gallade when Jason Klaczynski played it. Or google Cawthon's "The Truth". Or Gustavo Wada's MegaZone. 2 of those decks ran Magnezone, which had the exact same Ability(Poké-Power) that Delphox does. And even though, the fact that a deck has 2 Stage 2 lines doesn't mean that it'll immediately fail.

The formats allowed for all of those decks because of two reasons; 1, because Catcher was not around in their time and 2, because Big Basics didn't exist.
Also, The Truth worked because it locked them then set up while hitting with stuff like Zekrom.
Magnezone's decks worked because you had a good engine, like Cleffa and what not, and Magnezone's Power is much better because it can be used whenever, as many times as you have a Magnezone in play and because it couldn't be locked.
