(1) Worlds 2011's Swag, Next Year's Location [8/12]

I went to San Diego Worlds before and I saw some merchandise for sale in a small booth. Any idea on what could be sold there?

Obviously, I'm not a participant in any of the tournaments going on during then, so I was wondering if I would be able to at least get the Zoroark plush, even if I can't get "Tropical Beach" (the artwork there is beautiful, though the hard shading is kind of a weird choice for a beach).

Interesting that the artwork this time, overall, has a rap theme. These don't have anything to do with the cities they take place in anymore, do they? (Speaking of which, if this is Worlds, why is it always in the Untied States? It'd be like the World Series.)
 
The Zoroark plushie is the same one from the Japanese Pokemon Centers (where they are $10). You can probably find it online for $20ish.

It's in the U.S. because that's where the most players are, which means it's cheaper for TPCi and people don't have to deal with documentation for leaving the U.S.
 
I want that plush! I'm not usually excited about Pikachu plushes since there are like a thousand, but this is sweet! :D
 
Aw, I was expecting some special hip-hop Zoroark. That would've been awesome. The skateboard Pikachu seems interesting too though. Both the plush and the hat. What is that second picture, between the skateboard Pikachu plush and the Tropical beach card? Is that the backside of the T-shirt?
 
I'm now officially jealous that they don't do Worlds in GB. The binder looks great and Tropical Beach looks very good for T2 in bad early-games.

These look really cool! But why would Pikachu have a skateboard? Is trying to connect with kids? Anyway, it looks really cool!
 
Everything looks awesome! I adore the Pikachu plush, and love the Promo card. Man. All this stuff is amazing!
 
Wow, all this makes me want to go to Worlds even more now! I really, really like the plush and Stadium promo, but I think the shirt could use color.

I'm also slightly-excited on next year's Worlds being in Hawaii, as I plan on working my way up there then. If only I could finish some decks by then...
 
The younger sister of a friend of mine is currently at Worlds (she won the Junior division at the French event). I wish her the best of luck...

But boy am I jelly after seeing all that swag.
 
I'm really hoping to go to Worlds sometime but it doesn't look like it's going to happen next year because it's going to be in Hawaii... :/ I guess I could always try to get myself an invite but I don't see that happening anytime soon considering this will be my first year in the masters division. D:
 
All the stuff looks great. I would seriously go just for the free stuff and possibly getting some Japanese sleeves. It makes me sad that next year will be in Hawaii which means I'll probably have to get an invite or something and thats not likely. :(
 
Isn't there also supposed to be a World's Special Pokemon Distribution?

What's the Pokemon for this year?
 
OMFG I WOULD LOVE THESE THINGS! ESPECIALLY THE POSTER AND SHIRT DESIGNS, THEY LOOK AWESOME!!!!

That swag is boss, I really hope that Worlds isnt in Hawaii next year, because thats really far for me.... Please be ORLANDO
 
why is worlds in hawaii again...makes me sad, but that stadium is pretty sweet and almost worth using in a deck :p
also the playmat is awesome, Pikachu looks so sweet.
