I'm really hoping this is a GSC-type sequel. Just imagine the region 10-20 years in the future, the cities changed, new gyms, new areas, and brand new amazing features and characters. A new story with an older version of N, and someone trying to bring back Team Plasma. I have high hopes for these games, and Nintendo is doing everything right for now. With the US reveal on the same day as the Japanese one, I'm expecting very similar release dates.

I don't know why people complain about Kyurem fusing with Reshiram and Zekrom. It was already stated in Black and White that Reshiram and Zekrom were once the same Pokemon and it was implied that Kyurem was also part of the same dragon, all this does is confirm the latter. The plot will probably be N fusing The Pokemon he caught it the last game (Reshiram if it was White or Zekrom if it was Black) with Kyurem and then for the rest of the game attempting to fuse it with the remaining dragon to create the original Dragon. Hopefully they include a 3rd alternate form for Kyurem after you beat the story and catch all three Dragons, or if they really want to milk this gen for all it's worth they could do a 5TH version with the final, or "Original" form of Kyurem.
Still looking into it but there is a strong possibility the release date is the same for the U.S. and Japan.
When I first saw this, I was honestly disappointed. I mean, to call it Pokemon Black 2 and White 2? Then to combine two pokemon into one? I thought that was really stupid. But, now hearing some ideas, I think these will be really cool games.
First off, its a real sequel. I wonder if we'll as a different character. If it is a sequel, that means it would have to continue form BW. Playing as the other characters wouldn't make sense if we would have to get new starters again.
Second, in the legend, it says that Kyruem, Zekrom, and Reshiram were once all combined. Here, we only have two out of the three. Maybe there will be another forme that has all three combined.
Last, I'm just a little bit confused as to why Zekrom and Reshiram would switch game titles. I would have thought that Kyram/Kyrom would have stayed with what Zekrom and Reshiram were in. But I must say, these games seem really interesting. I cna't wait for more info.

The text from the Japanese website says "Completely new adventure". Guy who brought us that tidbit clarified that it might be brand new story, or just brand new features. But either way, it seems to be a lot more different that third versions normally are.
