edit: Maybe Instead of the orb opening into Reshiram/ Zekrom, Kyruem shows up and fuses with it? Or, If it is a direct sequel, theres probably a new trainer that stumbles upon the reshi/zek that N has released 5 years before and that mixes with kyurem....

Or.... The trainer meets N, who still has the legendary from the game before, and the hero and N have to work together to stop Ghestis, who reformed a new team plasma, and somewhere in the game N after that gets killed be kyruem, and the truth / dreams in N's heart pulls a bond between Reshi/Zek and Kyruem and awesomly fuses them together, creating the new form....

I think that you just came up with the best story ever for a Pokemon game that will never have a story that good. Not joking. If the story is that good, well, throw more WANT on my DO WANT meter.

Here's my question: How is Pokemon going to make me buy both of these games? Usually when there are two games at once, there are several version-exclusive Pokemon, most notably the legendary duo. This time, there are... Two different Kyurem. That doesn't seem like a significant difference to me.

Deoxys's selling point was that it had four different forms, and it seemed to have been popular enough.

What I want to see is Kyurem taking on traits of other things, though I know it's not going to happen. Maybe a Tornadus-Thundurus-Landorus Kyurem. Maybe a Genesect Kyurem. Maybe even a Hilda Kyurem!

I called this like... Two or three weeks ago. Two formes.
Anyway, I'm excited about it. I'm getting Black 2 since I have White already.
And IMHO they won't remake Ruby/Sapphire... They'll most likely revisit Hoenn though, kinda like in G/S/C where they revisited Kanto, but the entire story based in Hoenn, not like a "Hey, let's go here! What's that!? Another region? Ok." like in G/S/C. Different story, later date, etc...

Deoxys didn't have a pair of games entirely devoted to its formes...

I kinda ask the same thing. I buy the games because of the new pokémon, I don't care about story or other things... I don't see why would I buy a whole game just for a new pokémon forme... I'd rather just wait for generation 6 which will have new pokémon and I'll be able to get both kyurem formes anyway...

I don't think Deoxys ever sold games on its own. People bought both Ruby and Sapphire, and both FireRed and LeafGreen, to complete the Pokedex; and they bought Emerald for the new features such as Battle Frontier.

If these are direct sequels and not just the typical third version but split in two, then it's neat to see Game Freak trying something new.

I don't see why so many people are griping about the games not being made specifically for the 3DS. From what I'm understanding, they'll have 3D effects when played on the 3DS and probably other features too. Releasing them for the DS is just making the games more accessible to everyone and therefore making more money off them. I'm sure if these were released for the 3DS only there'd be complaints about that with people saying they're going to pass on the games since they don't own a 3DS and either can't afford or don't want one just for these.

I'm kind of hoping these games will take place years after the events of Black and White, and we'll be playing as the son/daughter of Hilda/Hilbert. Or even cooler but more unlikely, we'll get to play as N.

Here's the thing though. You already have the originals in 2D on your DS. Right? SO, then Pokémon offers you a completely new experience on the 3DS giving you more reason to buy. And Pokémon would be a system seller for Nintendo. Its one of if not the best selling portable gaming series out there. So far, it just doesn't seem "different" from the originals released last year.

This is garbage.
First of all, no 3DS. My main thought when buying a 3DS was how awesome a Pokémon game would look on it. And if you're gonna make direct sequels at least put them on your new platform. Strike one.
Second, it's 2 versions not one. They couldn't even bother to come up with an original name. And then I wouldn't see it as unlikely for a Pokémon gray to roll around two. Strike two.
Finally, I don't see any originality in these two formes. Its like they opened up photoshop and copy and pasted body parts from each legendary. Strike three.
This seems lazy and uncreative. I honestly can't see game freak blowing me away this time around. I wanted Gray. Not this!

I agree with point one, but point two is a bit unfair to say the least. And three, do you know how hard it must be to come up with 651+ Pokemon?! Seriously think about that. It's probably a lot harder than you think.

Yea, but you can't really look at these formes and say they're unlike anything you've ever seen. And, by the way, they didn't even need these new former. A Pokémon Gray with Kyurem.

But honestly, I didn't think Black and White were the greatest. They certainly weren't bad of course, but they don't rival previous games. (In my opinion.)
I do, however, like how they're keeping the names simple and kind of going back to the beginning with the whole color thing.

Why are people happy that the game is on the DS instead of the 3DS? If it was on the 3DS, it'd have better graphics, and I dunno, MORE FEATURES? People complain about unoriginal ideas and people literally hold franchise development by being excited its for a 2004 handheld that can only hold up to like, 256 MB of data? Black/White already pretty much pushed the data limit because of the sprites. The sprites are gonna look poor like always because the DS screen resolution is low and the sprites can't be remade to a higher resolution because that requires more space to be used, and the DS can't afford to do that anymore. This could've been THE next two-region game, SapphireBlack and RubyWhite, but no, if they wanted that they'd have to strip Hoenn down like they did with Kanto in HGSS. Not to mention DLC, streetpass Secret Bases, etc.

My thoughts exactly. If it was on the 3DS, it would be all better.

And no. Hoenn doesn't look like it will be in this. If it is, GREAT! Realistically, it won't.

If it were a sequel, it could be that N's Reshiram or Zekrom fused with Kyurem. Then the player can capture that. This is my theory on why this time Black and White flip around.

exactly what I was thinking. To truly get the full experience, and this is speculation by the way, people who have played black should play black 2, and those who played white should play white 2, because the story is canon that way.

I mean, why would anyone want a third version anyway? Once I finished with Pearl, I never touched Platinum, after all, they are the same game. I'd rather have a brand new map, rather than play the same map from the start.

I was thinking about the N thing, but it would be odd to have so much backstory on your main character. As for the son/daughter thing... I could see it. Like Golden Sun. Hilda and Herbert together. And thus born is Grayshipping.

That's... not a bad idea. Perhaps there was a Zapmolcuno deal going on. Plasma Evil team tries to fuse what it has with Kyurem. Or evil team tries to clone the old beast, but only has one of Zekrom/Reshiram.

Yeah, that's probably the most surprising thing out of this whole story. It's quite amazing.

Now I was shocked, but it quickly turned into excitement. Actually, I don't think I've ever been this excited for the "third game" before. When I first saw the new formes(it was in the movie poster), I actually didn't really like them, but once better pictures came, man they look so freaking awesome!

Also Black Kyurem and White Kyurem arn't the greatest of names, but I don't think that they will be called that in English versions.
