then again, making a game that doesn't use the capabilities of the 3DS is a dumb idea, which means this game doesn't make use of the 3DS 3d features.

I don't know, but I like this idea of a sequel, because third versions are kind of dumb in a way that you are technically playing the same game, same maps, with same pokemon, and this time, you are actually playing something different for a change.

The question is, are you technically still the same guy from black and white, or are you some new guy getting a fresh start?
 
Urgh, don't tell me we are getting a fusion for pokemon??? This is a-whole-other level of wierdness, but I'm OK.
 
If we're getting the other Pokemon Spinoff (Nomunga's Ambition or whatever it was), we'd be getting it before Black and White 2, just saying...

Interesting. I also really appreciate that they don't stick to pervious patterns of releases. The Kyurem Formes look interesting, they may be an explanation to the function of its "tail engine". The fact, that "Pocket Monsters 2" was originally the working title for Pokémon Gold and Silver is also interesting, implies a new storyline.
 
Well hopefully it wouldn't take long.
Cities, names, Pokemon, items, attacks - all English.

But who knows the extent of additional/changed stuff being added.
 
Forgive me if this has already been noted or sounds stupid, but do you guys notice that the swapped Reshiram/Zekrom? Zekrom is in Black 2 while Reshiram is in White 2. Less confusing this way, but why the swap?

Not necessarily. NoA knows for a fact that these games will be popular in the Americas, unlike Ambition. They'll probably focus more on getting this game out. Look at Monster Hunter/Xenoblade/Last Story.

They will be playable on 3DS just like all DS games, they are still just DS games. Do you know how you sell a system? With first party titles. Pokemon is one of Nintendo's biggest first party franchises and the fact that the 3DS has been out for a year and they have yet to announce a main series Pokemon game for the system. I just want to finally have a 3D main series Pokemon game but now I have to wait even longer.
The worst part is the game will probably use the exact same map and sprites with little to no graphical improvement.
 
I love how once Black 2 and White 2 were revealed the forums crashed. But, great recovery!

Anyways, that was unexpected. Pretty much everything was unexpected. Could this be the end of only one "third" version....Anyways, it's all good, I'll be waiting for more news as usual.
 
If someone can get 96 x 96 of the front and back of both formes I will be more than happy to create a new PO client and update our server to have them.
 
You guys do know that every other DS games is compatible with the 3DS, right?
They didn't specifically make it for both systems.
 
I am guessing that since Zekrom and Reshiram were a single Pokemon at one point, Kyurem is what was left over. The new formes would be what happens when Zekrom or Reshiram comes back together with Kyurem.

Yeah yeah, I myself doubt that we'll get the game, but I did say "if" we get it.

Yeah, someone said that. I can maybe see it as Zekrom still being in White, and Reshiram still in Black, but with Kyurem transforming into the opposite formes. Hm.
